Have y'all heard the rumor news?

The RUMOR is that Celebration IV will be in Los Angeles in May 2007 (from the 24th to the 27th). I don't know if this is true but I plan to be at C4 no matter what!

Please check out the Celebration section of the forums for more news. Apparently, the official announcement will be made next month so we'll have to wait until then to see if the rumors are true.

i'm off to my job evaluation day . they already want me to go to the assessment centre on thursday for a day of "role play" (originally i was told that this wouldn't happen until after today's evaluation). wonder if they will let me be a jedi.................

today went well. i had to walk around the shop telling them what they were doing "wrong" and what i would do instead. took me about an hour. feeling quite positive but i'm not counting any chickens yet though, i have never done any of these "role playing" type events

 

What kind of shop was it Dave?

And ooooh.. The reply function finall works on my PC. It shows the right colours and Superman!

 

it's a motorway service station shop. my area of "expertise" is retail.

been back about an hour. what a load of old tosh role playing is. i was so nervous because i had never done it before, i didn't know how seriously to take it, or how "real" a performance i should "put on". good fun though, and definately a new experience. not one i am keen to repeat soon and i'm glad it's over. only took me just over half an hour to get there too (the last services you pass on the way to phill's house on the m1 north). coming back was much more fun ( ), junction 21 was closed and i couldn't get onto the m69, and had to go to hinckley (more or less) and back out again. took me nearly two hours.

anyway apparantley you can't fail the assessment day, and of the 9 of us who went 5 were already staff members and the 4 of us were all "new". i should hear inside a week whether i get the gig (phill, can you smell the vodka yet )

on the way back i stopped at a motorway service station to get a drink. i only had a quid on me and the cheapest bottle pop was £1.25!! bloody prices they charge at these places

yeah I heard about hte bad traffic on the radio last night, all the Take that fans were crying because they couldnt get to the NEC!

ive done those role playing interviews, they are very American!
Those C3 pics have made me all nostalgic, I'll be at C4 even if I have to sell my own mother.
