ST "Mizzlewump" Rumor - Too Many Coincidences?

Um, that is quite obviously satire.

 

Now that you point it out I see that it is but based on what I'd heard about Arndt it actually tallys with some of what he actually thinks if what I heard is to be believed.

 

Just in case anyone somehow takes those 'quotes' seriously, that article was posted on April 1.

 

Can anyone clarify that? I always thought (maybe hearing it from an old podcast) that it was from the Ardnt script?

Did not we heard about Luke dying early in the movie in Arndt script?

 

This is a joke, right? If not, then I'm absolutely elated that Arndt isn't involved in this project and that JJ and LK decided to go in their own direction. Contradict the existing movies? What kind of Star Wars fan is this guy?

Actually that is what sold me at a glance on it being real.

That IS what Star Wars is about in so many ways.

TESB was totally about saying what you were told before is not true. Here is what really happened. Then ROTJ did it again and then the prequels did that again.

Changing what you thought you saw is what Star Wars has always been about.

 

That's pretty much the only rumor we've heard about Arndt's script: that it supposedly had Luke dying as part of the initiating action, and the offspring were to stage a jailbreak to free Han and Leia from an Imperial prison.

 

If this is true, then I would be happy that it is changed.

 

it does seem to me like the biggest changes (from rumors) is the Big 3 getting bigger roles and the reworking of certain events in the timeline (like for example, Finn/Rey meeting earlier).

From what I've read on the net, Michael Arndt's screenplay focused on Han and Leia's twin children.

Are you just trolling or do you honestly believe that that's a real interview with Arndt?

 

Isn't it funny how most of the recent rumors just seem like variations of Mizzlewump's stuff?

 

it makes sense as MW seems to be the most reliable of the leaks, it would also makes sense if not everything turns out right given that it's only the 2nd draft. What I'm curious to know is how was he/she able to read a draft (If true) given all the secrecy, only a handful of people would be able to read the incomplete script???
