Yeah, so I got into the Lord of the Rings Online Beta. Guess what I've been doing for 7 hours today... [face_hypnotized]

I did the beta in January. No sir, didn't like it. At all. While it strives to pull players away from WoW, I think it'll be more suited to mature players looking for a story, who aren't expecting it to be anything like the movies.

And I don't know a single one of those. LOL.

I just joined for the Hobbits :p

A few days ago I just ran around the Shire, everything was so disgustingly cute I had to kill things ;)

I didn't like the fact that it has an actual storyline that you have to pay attention to. It's geared for a more mature crowd, which, believe me -- after the Blood Elf Craze of 2007 where all the servers' 12-year-old Alliance players came to our side, a little maturity would be more than welcome.

BUT, I can never devote my full attention to a game, and most of my guild is usually playing under the influence (PUI), so there's no way we could ever be good at doing somethat that requires you to pay attention to. LOL.

Guild Wars is an incredible RPG that actually has a plot to it, and all three plots are actually decent. MMOs that have a plot tend to have a sever lack of stupid 12 year olds that try to be E-Cool, which is really nice in GW because then you get people that are actually focused on playing the game.

I'm still doing WoW. I might go back for the new space content in a couple of months, but that's subject to how much time I have. DDO -- I tried it, but I didn't like the user interface.
