    Felt it in central Pennsylvania. Allegedly, it was felt up and down the east cost and a few hundred miles inland.

    I felt it all the way on cape cod. What the hell. I thought I was just imagining my bed shaking for a minute, but then I saw the news.

    Like a few others in DC, definitely felt it. Had a few things fall off the shelves but nothing too bothersome.

    A little disappointed I didn't feel it, but I was driving to work so that's a good thing.

    I knew it was only a matter of time before the East Coast got one.


    EDIT: my mom felt the earthquake at home (in Pawtucket, RI) and I guess our dog was going nuts barking.

    I felt it here in Toledo, Ohio! And I heard that it was felt all the way in Detroit. I thought it was a train going by at first.

    It was pointed out to me that the buildings here aren't quake-proofed. So to that extent, I guess there's slight cause for worry. The shaking itself still wasn't so bad. :p

    I'm hearing that the Pentagon's basements are flooded, that the earthquake broke some of the main water pipes?

    I didn't feel anything in Pittsburgh. I heard reports that people just thought it was construction, though. :p

    I did feel it here in Michigan for a bit, a slight swaying that I could have mistaken for a large truck rolling by. But then the news reports came concerning it.

    the spread of this thing is pretty amazing. i guess that has to do with the shallow depth? it's been updated to 6km (from 1km).

    The party got rocked here in Philly pretty hard. Had the lights swaying over the table and knocked over a few things. I seriously thought somebody crashed into our building. My wife's work was evacuated for some reason. Worst thing that happened here was ink spilled on a page I've put 6 hours into and will set me back about 4 extra hours to clean it up a bit. Pretty wacky stuff, this earthquake business.
