I must say that Im rather surprised to see Kate back considering that she was one of the loudest dissenters during the whole Philip Wise debacle and was one of the first to resign. I guess principle doesnt mean that much anymore these days, huh ?

please. a person's feelings on an issue can still allow for things to change over time, without abandoning their principles on that issue.

Kate, I understand why you resigned, and I admit I can also understand to some extent why you came back. Coverage in JCC hasn't been the greatest lately, and although I usually shy away from the belief that one individual can significantly and permanently alter the course of the JC these days, I think in this case a couple of experienced and damn good mods like you two could end up making a difference after all. The mods like me who left because of Philip really were the selfish ones, because we didn't feel like hanging around when someone like him was going to make life difficult for us. In the process, we abandoned a community we loved.

On behalf of the community, thank you for putting the good of the JC ahead of your own desires. It was an admirably unselfish choice to make.

Welcome back to both of you.

 

Heres to two great mods and may they bring back Sanity and compassion to the Community they so loved.
