Be careful of mod impersonators when off the JC. People do it just for jokes.

Dont believe anything you hear unless you've gotten it straight from a mod, on the JC itself. Especially since the 'mod' you heard it from really hasnt been online for the last few weeks.

Also, Spike only resigned from Saga yesterday...but you wouldnt be able to know that.

As I said, noone will be promoted for Saga in the near future.

Actually, I first got the Instant Message back in early November saying that I was being considered to replace Spike. Then I got the message last week saying I had been chosen. So I know about Spike leaving well in advance. Hmm.

I concur with the medical droid. And be wary of anyone outside the boards having similar names. I have tried to register my name on a number of sites and cannot. It takes me a long time to even get a variation that works. So if you want TF.N news, get it from here. Everywhere else, you're taking a chance.

But I created this name, came up with it from a dictionary, never saw it anywhere else. They're copy-cats. I'm the original Sapes.

Yeah,annoying isn't it? Because I made up the name OBIX1 myself,and I don't like it to much when people copy it.

My whole 52000+ posts have come as a result of someone stealing my name. Someone had already registered Bib Fortuna here, and he only has like 15 posts total to boot. Grrr.

 

I get this name on every site I visit, even online games etc.

My very first visit here, I tried to register the name Raven. But someone else already had it. And didn't even have any posts with it. So, I tried DarthFrodo. And that was taken too. So I went for Gandolf the Grey.

And then, after the move to Snowboards, I discovered that I had spelled it wrong.

I thought I had an original name, guessing every site would already have someone registering Sebulba on them, but as it turns out Sebulba X (no dash) got here first. Since I chose to have the dash in my name, never noticed the guy, not until I already had a decent sized fan site on fan.starwars.com and tried to change my ebay username to sebulba-x and I was denied...turned out that guy had a site as well. Strange.

i can't get my name in most places because of the é.
