MS Update Mod Squad Update for August 17, 2005

I would hope someone new could be found this time.

 

I agree wholeheartedly with the Everton fan.

 

The time zone is 7PM - 11PM Board Time. I'm usually on that time as are some many other interesting characters.

 

Yeah, I would also like to see a new face promoted for the JCC, rather than another ex-mod repromotion. Kate being the only exception here.

You'll be missed Amos. You always kept your cool, never took it all too serious, and never let the dramatic aspects of being a mod affect your overall enjoyment of the JCC. Good luck with your studies.

 

They're looking for "morning/AM" time zone (board time of course).

 

I thought it may be so...

I'll PM whatever suggestions I can come up with.

 

Now wait a minute. Looking at Amos posts, I couldn't find one AM board time. Amos was always on 7-11 PM Board Time. Hawk does mornings anyways.

 

Practically speaking, I'll be Amos's replacement, as I'll be shifting more to evenings. I've been handling the mornings and early afternoons since I was promoted, but because of school and such, I won't be able to do that on a regular basis anymore.

 

So we're looking for someone early morning to afternoon then. I could still swing that.

The last three JCC appointments have been good ones, but another re-promotion would be a wrong move. There's now more than enough experience in the current JCC mod team to bring through a new guy or gal without rocking the boat. They shouldn't be looking at another old hand.

 

Picking a good mod is more important than whether or not it's someone new or a repromotion.

Amazing.

 

And we're not contesting that, Amazing. All we're saying is that it would be nice to see a fresh face. However, if MS needs to repromote in order to get a good moderator, then so be it.
