This may not be the right thread to ask this, but I feel I will get a good answer here.

I noticed the film Line-By-Line thread were all locked (except ESB, but it was just over looked). I do not post in these thread, but I have, and was go to, use them to get movie quotes and fix my bad spelling.

I was confused as to what could happen in a Line-By-Line thread that would get it locked?

 

I believe there's a limit of one Line by Line thread a month for each movie.

 

Not quite.

Once a LBL thread is started the movie goes round twice and then is locked, after a month is can be restarted.

 

Having mentioned that. I call for all mods to take a good look at "Let be known. I scored with the hottest chick on the JC" thread. Maybe then you will understand how things go unnoticed....
