Mod Squad Update for the Week Ending 2/14/07

Welcome to this week?s Mod Squad Update, hosted by me, one of your resident obsessive OC fangirls. Since the show is ending in a mere eight days and since today is Valentine?s Day, I thought it only appropriate to do a lil? love letter to the popcultural phenomenon that redefined a generation. Goodbye, OC, we hardly knew ye.

?Valentine's day is not a holiday. Rosh Hashanna, that's a holiday. Memorial day, yes, a holiday. You know who invented Valentine's day? Hershey's and Hallmark!"

• Sandy Cohen might not buy into the whole Valentine?s Day thing, but we sure do. DVeditor uploaded a bunch of nifty icons especially for this day. If you haven?t picked out a festive avatar yet, you can find them here.



• We also have some James Bond icons up right now, because Bond is awesome (and because The Amphitheatre is sponsoring a Bond Films Review Thread. Stop by and check it out!)

?Well, if by magic, you're referring to the card game, then, sadly, yes.?

• The Arena mods were hard at work this week discussing new games and tournaments for their forum. Look for updates as the weeks go by.



• We discussed a new gaming idea for Census & Games. This involved lots of long posts by NYCitygurl and Tyi-Maet_Nefer. These guys take their stuff seriously.

?There isn?t a lie in the world I haven't heard or told so just give it to me straight. It'll save us a lot of time.?

• What Mod Squad Update would be complete without a mention of those troublesome problem users? We discussed a few this week.
