I don't see how a "Hardcore Unspoiled" forum would work. Why would you even go to that forum if you didn't have anything to talk about?

as far as the hardcore unspoiled forum...

i know a few people who are going hardcore unspoiled for the next movie. i may even myself. but if i were doing that, i wouldn't go the a forum to discuss the movie. especially not one on this board. the spoiler-free forum is enough of a target for trolls, making a hardcore unspoiled one would be even worse. it wouldn't work without making it private, and if you want a private forum that badly, just get an EZ board.

as someone who is spoiler free, i'm totally against the forum. it just wouldn't work on a board as busy as this one.

I honestly see no use for a hard-core unspoiled forum. If you're going to implement one, it's as good as telling people that the current Unspoiled forum isn't really unspoiled, which would ruin the entire mood in there, and also upset NSA forum regulars. Furthermore, this would make the current NSA forum more susceptible to people posting spoilers inside without a second glance.

I have to agree that the jokes in the mod squad updates are really going a bit too far. The first one by farraday was fine, but I think we only expected something funny once in a while, and not on almost every single one of these. This one probably had more jokes than the actual stuff itself. Somehow I don't think I would mind if we actually needed to go back to the boring old updates.

Just a point of concern over the long list of "Previous Mod Squad Updates" shown at the bottom of the post: I feel that the list is seriously getting very very long. I think that the previous 5 links is sufficient; since no issues from more than the previous week are brought up, I don't really see the use of listing all the previous ones. Furthermore, this will potentially take up a lot of space in the future.

I like this idea. The hard core spoiled forum could be for those who spoil themselves rotten, soaking in every detail. The normal unspoiled could be used just for those who wish to speculate based on the past movies and trailers/official pictures. The hard core unspoiled would be for those who still wish to talk about epy III but don't care to learn anything about epy III. Although the hard core unspoiled could use a little modification.

I did read the thread. I don't care if there wasn't much deemed "newsworthy". I, as well as others, just want the facts, plain and simple. No sugarcoating, no inside jokes, nothing other than the facts.

Umm... actually, I think me as well as most of the other people who read this thread don't mind the humour thrown in.
Whats so wrong with trying to make it humourous anyways?

 

The only problem I have with this thread is that I think Liz is Vertical. This will take some time to get used to.
