Why didn't you stick with your original comment? Are you afraid of defending yourself and your views?

 

No, I'm not afraid, I just don't think that my veiws and arguments would hold up that well. I mean, whats the point of saying thanks? Seriously, I know you guys are complimenting the Mods/admins, but in the long run, is it really all that helpful?? IMO no, because I've never benifited from a Mod update. But the song parodies are nice, , so I guess thats one thing.

we thank them for the effort that they make in creating the update, for the time they take to inform us regular users about the goings on, for the consideration that they pay us in acknowledging many of our concerns, and for the fact they the administration is actively involved and cares for this forum... that fact alone benefits me...

don't think, DimensionX, that your habit of writing belittling comments to users and then quickly editing them out to replace them with some less offensive, even phoney, comment hasn't gone unnoticed...

Clearly you are keeping info from the members! Did anything come of the discussion or is it still going on?

And yes, thanks for the update and I love the admins.

 

I believe it was decided that should the AC want titles, they may have them. So the ball's in their court.

And I'm pretty sure everyone (including the AC) liked the idea of more members.

I agree with what has been said regarding DimX....if you are going to say something, at least have the cojones to stand by what you say...

 

Thanks for this week's update. It's clearly much more well thought out than the previous one, and we'll really appreciate it if future updates could be of this standard. We don't mind a late update, as long as it answers the questions that we really wish to have answers for.

I think that the policy on new policies is a good policy. Hopefully it will work out well in reality and not just on paper. All the same, the trial period idea sounds like a good check.

We thank the mods because they take the effort to write up a Mod Squad update for us. Please recall that the mods are volunteers. They are not paid for the job, nor are they required to write updates as part of it. Yet they bother to take the time out to write an update for us and answer our queries. That's why we thank them.

 

Okay, maybe we should drop the whole editing thing.

But let this be a reminder that when you say something - even on the Internet - you will be judged on what you said, and held accountable for it. People often forget that behind every bobafettfan983 and starWARZwow01 is an actual person, with real feelings.

There's no edit button in real life. You call someone an idiot - you pay the consequences.

Just remember that.
