Just a quick question, has RolandO stepped down or is it just a quick break?

RolanofGilead told me via PM he wanted to step down due to real life. I asked him to share it in the MS. At the same time he asked that I demote him and remove private forum access. He was a great mod. A great mod indeed. It was my pleasure to mod with him almost every single day for several years. He did so much work behind-the-scenes that most everyone will never be aware of. He made the whole spoiler experience fun for me and he is a good friend.

 

The demise of Roland as a JC Moderators is incredibly sad news. I felt 100000000% cooler by just sharing a forum with Roland, never mind working with him. He was a stunning moderator and a great friend.

Maybe in a few years, as we approach the countdown to the TV series, Rolsy will come back as a full time Mod? We can only hope.

 

Roland was probably the coolest mod I've ever seen. He pretty much was 3SA and I agree, GFETT, hopefully he'll come back for the tv series.

 

Seeing as this is true, I am saddend by the news, but of course wish him well. Hw was a great mod and a good help when I first joined the boards and he will be missed, hopefully he will not stay away and to echo others sentiments I hope he will one day return as a full time mod.

 

I'll just chime in and say that RoG is a mensch. He had a great wit, a level head, and he understood the equilibrium of 3SA so well, that he MADE the forum great. His actions in 3SA garnered my greatest respect. I wish him well.
