Model Building Get Together

I thought of a way that we can get together and have some fun. I'm trying to gauge interest to see who would like to get together and build some Star Wars models? Not only would it be great to hang out, but once we build the models, it would be great to try our hand at green screening these models for future events, SWN's and fan films.
Based on the amount of people interested, we can figure out a day and time. Please let me know if you're interested.

Hmmm, depending on the size and how many tiny pieces. I have stubby fat fingers. LOL. But, I'd be happy to host a model building day. I have a good size dining room table , a magnified work lamp, and can provide snacks.

 

I'd be interested. I cut my teeth on plastic model ships in the 50's and custom cars in the 60's. Never built any Star Wars kits so this would be a good excuse to do some. If folks get up to speed with kits, maybe some would be interested in progressing to scratch builds.

Well, it would be great to learn. I've seen some scratch builds online, and some of them are really cool.

 

I'm interested. I haven't built a model in long time.

Looking at February 4th as a day for the Model Building. Location will be determined by the number of people who are free that day. Looking at an afternoon to early evening time frame. Please post if you are able attend. Thanks.

Will be just a couple days post-op from my second eye surgery, so will not be able to come.

 

I will also put the 11th as an option. So please let me know which date would be better, the 4th or 11th. This way there is a choice and whichever has the most we will start with.

Can't do the 4th. SAWNY event in the AM and Sabres game at night.

 

From what folks have indicated looks like the 11th would be a better day for Model Building. So Iet's go with the 11th.
