    I recently got a copy of Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings, Op. 11. which is a great piece of music that you often hear in the background of techno songs and movies. It got me to thinking what other bits of great orchestral music should I have in my collection, and how much modern stuff is there ?

    Samuel Barber is from the 60's and 70's and I have Rob Dougan from a few years ago. Is there music in the gap that I should have?

    the wiggles "big red car" is the all time classic that should be in everyones collection
