    "On a more serious note, I am about to give jp-30 and Gandolf the gray Manager status so they can help manage the forums more effectively."

    That needs one of them dun-dun-dunnn things that all the movies have.

    And just to pester/whine, I asked a couple of questions about the JCC Reform. I've been assuming you're all heavily considering the answers, as I know you'd never ignore questions. If I were the kind of person who did smileys one or more would have been inserted instead of this sentence.

    Amazing.

    Several problem users were discussed. Two of them have been banned. You know who you are.

    You know whom you are.

    Got that?

    Oh...

    So the ban has to do with the incessant grammar correction?

    Lord Bane informed me that the prize for creating the best pun was that he would wait one full week before banning me. :)

    AmazingB, of course it will go to the AC for consideration. But understand, that also means that will extend the time it takes for us to actually get the proposal to you.

    And as for a "trial" period? I think any time you try something new, it could be considered a trial. Honestly, I didn't propose any drastic changes, just a tweak (all based on user suggestions): more games, more more mod coverage, a sticky topic, etc. But of course, if we try these things and we find, collectively, that they are not working out, I would think common sense would prevail and we would abandon or rework the idea. In other words, nothing is set in stone.

    I am not sure if I answered your question......does that help?

    You know whom you are.

    Actually, no, it's "you know who you are." "To be" is a verb that doesn't use a direct object - the object of the verb is in the nominative case. ;)

    Nice update - and JMT, why can't we burn the place? Pyrotechnics can be fun! ;) :p

    Yeah Obi-Zahn, it's not "whom". Did you have no faith that I would have caught something like that? ;)

    A simple guideline for deciding which to use is the he/him rule.

    he=who
    him=whom

    Right:"He knows who he is" "You know who you are."
    Wrong:"Him knows who him is." "You know whom you are." :)

    No, you wouldn't be... after all, there would have to be an investigation, and you would be needed as public spokesperson. ;)

    Noooooo no no no no no no no no... That's too close to Leia in the Han's-fling-with-alcoholism - er, Agents of Chaos books in the NJO. Much as I enjoy the NJO, I wouldn't wish those books on anyone. ;) No, you need to be the person who comforts the grieving community and updates us on the investigation. ;)

    Though I suppose if we're talking about blowing it up in public, the investigation might not last long... :p

    This thread has a distinct lack of drama.

    Hey, I know. How about this:

    Lord knows Bane is a pain. Ha! [Insert winky/silly/grinning smily here. This signifies that my insult is not of a serious nature.]

    Actually, it is debatable. However, I see your point.

    I do believe that "to be" allows both forms.

    "It is me" is just as grammatically correct as "It is I".

    At least that is how I have heard it.

    Besides, I was always under the impression that making the predicate noun objective was more acceptable.

    Well its not surprising that you don't know what the mod squad is. Let me clue you in.

    The Mod squad is a secret society that is hell bent on qworld domination. They have their hands in everything from politics, to international commerce and trade to illegal panda sales. In short, they control everything and are not to be crossed. Consider this your only warning, once they read this I'm as good as dead. good luck.

    Wait, I think I hear something....Oh no they're coming fo..............................................
