    Kylantha: this woman was the Queen of Naboo during the height of the Galactic Civil War. Although she was outwardly loyal to the Empire, she refused to dissolve the Naboo Royal Advisory Council. She also failed to implement any of the sweeping changes to Naboo's democratic government often associated with Imperial doctrine, which led many--including Inquisitor Loam Redge--to believe she harbored some support for the Alliance.

    Kylantha, incidentally, is more a Loyalist than the entry claims. That information is drawn from the beginning day zero of Galaxies, whereas some canonical events occur to change things. She's changed her views due to some very important persuasion from the Galactic Emperor, and actually hates the Rebellion. There are rumors she's Palpatine's mistress, but she is definately very loyal to him personally. All of Naboo is, in general, save for the Gungans. The Empire doesn't mind her keeping democracy in place since the populace so fervently supports the Empire.

    It's Senator Pooja Naberrie that supports the Rebellion. ;)

    Queen Kylantha was in fact the successor to Apailana, formally styled Her Royal Highness, Queen Kylantha of Naboo. Unlike previous monarchs, Kylantha had exceeded her two terms of office by the time of the Battle of Yavin, but showed little inclination to voluntarily stepping down. Fortunately for Kylantha, her personal popularity and support for the Imperial state meant there was little pressure for her to do so.

    And, yes, Pooja served in the Galactic Senate. She served as a Rebel leader though she personally backed Kylantha's rule.
