Lord Inferno walked about, his fists clenched tightly as he watched Vanessa from a distance.
?She proves to be of value, yet, her heart is strong and if we keep her here with us any longer I fear that she may give us a problem?? a guard to which watched over Vanessa replied.
?No, we will not allow her freedom. I will deal with her when that time comes, but for the moment, she is fine right where she is?I mean after all, what could she possibly do?? Inferno chuckled.
?I mean, look at her. She is a Sith no stronger then I, and I am strong, but much stronger then she will ever become. Protected by Athrenino, and his minions, I see no less strength then any of his Sith.? Inferno added.
?How long do you think it will take them to find out that she is not returning?? the guard asked.
?I suspect no longer then a day or two, and if not, then we must serve them what they want, and show them where she is?? Inferno turned to look towards Vanessa?s direction.
?Ah, the look on his face must be something to remember, especially when he finds out whom has his?how should we say, girl friend.? Inferno grinned notoriously and smirked, then turned and walked up the long crooked stairs to his chambers in the top peak of his sand barren temple.
Once there he looked about the Tatooine sky, his eyes glowed from the evening sun as it departed behind the many stone buildings.

Kedri sat back into his seat, the shuttle slowly approaching its destination, and a holo-transmitter flickering in the cockpit.
The pilots switching over to front screens as a figured appeared before them. The figure was that of Ragnok, Athrenino?s protector.
?Ah, Master Ragnok, this is Kedri Alturas, I have come at the request of Lord Athrenino. Our security number and all information has been sent to you.? Kedri replied.
?Good, good?I have just received it, though your clearance number is not on my sheets, I will clear you for I know you, but please try to get that fixed?? Ragnok replied as he pushed down the main lever opening the landing hatch.
?You may land at landing bay three?? Ragnok replied as the monitor turned off and the pilots resumed their positions, both hands firmly on the controls as they brought the ship in for a clear land.
Kedri watched as the shield around the planet fell, and they entered the lush landscaped planet.
Then a sudden jolt moved them as they landed swiftly yet softly.
?We?re here!? The pilot replied as he unbuckled himself and stood to stretch, unlocking the main hatch.
Kedri looked out onto the runway expecting an awaiting party, yet no one. Except one man.
?Kedri? I am Lord Mantalo, Lord Athrenino asked me to come and get you, and he is in the main room waiting for your arrival.? Lord Mantalo replied as he led him through the corridors to the large door bust to which swung violently open and Athrenino ran out to greet him.
?KEDRI! Long time no see?? Athrenino exclaimed, ??My goodness am I ever so glad you have come so soon, especially in this our moment of victory against those retched Sith separatists on the distant moons of Vega.? Athrenino replied.
?Ah, yes old friend it is quite good to be here at this our most honorable moment. Yet, I fear the worst is brewing in the distant areas, those lands may be forcing up a great army beneath us.? Kedri replied.
?What do you think we must do to keep them back?? Athrenino asked.
?I feel that we cannot for the moment, an attack from us first would send all to look at us differently. The enemy knows this and is using this against us. I know this, only for I have seen this happen before to your ancestors rul

Chapter 14: The Devil That Fell To Iridonia



A few weeks passed after the battle with the Hutt. Brins and Faye talked quite frequently and became somewhat good friends, for their personalities matched each other well. Brins often invited her to dinner, where they talked about their day and past lives. It was during one of the dinners when Brins asked her about her family.

?Oh, my mother is dead. She died when I was being born and my father watched over me. But, when I was a teenager, something happened and I lost him. I don?t think that he is dead, but I don?t know what happened to him.? She said, staring off into her cup of caf.

?I can relate to that. But when I grew up, it was a different time.? Brins said, reassuring her.

?Of course you can. But how can a Sith, really feel compassion for someone?? She asked, staring into his eyes.

?Because, I?m not a traditionally minded Sith. I can use all of my emotions for my power, let it be light or dark. The force doesn?t care.? Brins said with all seriousness.

?Maybe. I?m such an idiot sometimes. Perhaps the only things I?m good at is fighting and gambling. And you?ve already seen those two talents.? She stated in a depressed tone.

?No, you?re not an idiot. Don?t sell yourself short Faye. If you were incompetent I wouldn?t have made you a general in the Sith army. Especially with you not being force sensitive.? Brins stated. Yet, even as he spoke, he had a nagging suspicion she may be more adept to the force than she was letting on.

?Yeah. Thanks, Brins.? She said as her mood began to change. ?So, what?s for dinner?? She asked leaning back in her chair.

?I have no idea. But I bet it is whatever you want.? Brins said, with the hint of a smile on his face.

?Ooh, betting and anything I want. I like that idea.? She added this with a smile as the waiter droid came that way.

The Ultimate Dodan, in construction over Iridonia, was a massive piece of machinery. It was huge with a dodan head for its base and an actual dodan torso coming out of its base. The huge machine was meant to have three heavenly abilities: self-replication, self-recovery, and self-adaptation. With these three abilities it was meant to be a harbinger of peace. Yet, it could also be used for evil?

The Ultimate Dodan sat silent in its hangar. Having just finished construction, it would have been easy pickings for anyone who could take out the fleet of guards surrounding it.

?So, what is this thing supposedly going to be used for?? One of the guards said as he looked at the giant machine.

?I hear it could be our ultimate weapon. I mean, why else would they have this much firepower around it?? Another answered.

?I would?.? But the guard never finished his sentence as an alarm sounded in the hangar and he lost his breath as if being punched in the gut. In truth, the air was escaping all the guards, and soon the freezing temperature of the vacuum was too much as their skin began to frost over. Some were able to withstand losing their oxygen for a few minutes, but eventually they succumbed as well. Two minutes after the hangar had been de-pressurized, it was re-pressurized and two figures walked in.

One was a tall human, with black hair and in a military uniform. He was one of many high ranking Brins clones. But this one was unique. He was the only true human of the bunch. The other man was short and had a white medical uniform on. His hair was a blueish purple. ?There, you have your weapon.? The doctor said.

?Very good. But I?ll be using you again. So, keep in touch.? The Brins clone said as he motioned for his own set of guards to escort the doctor away and bring his partner in. His partner was a clone general himself. It was the Exar Kun clone.

?This is all going well, Brinis.? Kun said as he entered the room. ?I trust you?ll be able to take this machine to Iridonia in perfect condition??

?Yes.? And with that, Brinis boarded the machine and the rest of the men left that hangar. Soon

Okay you got me there, yet that will no longer happen as long as this Unlimited Editing ability is in place. Although, there will be those we must keep our eyes peeled for, whom may abuse this and go far back into an old thread to edit an old post, which I must warn will not tolerated. In truth this is an ability to which our City Represenative allowed us to have to update the Forum Index and Mod Lists here. That is about the only reason, and also maybe for some clean ups on the threads themselves .
