Full Series Mon Mothma in rebels

Its shown in the recent episode preview that Mon Mothma will appear in Episode 18

What are your thoughts?

I'm excited tho. Im a huge fan of her, she's underrated IMO.

 

I think it's great. I'm honestly surprised that they haven't had her on yet.

 

Who is doing the voice? is it the same actress?

 

Not exactly sure. I've heard that its the same actress doing Mothma's voice in rebels. That would be nice cause she did a great job portraying her in Rogue One.

 

Well its nice they're no longer mothballing Mothma and using her a bit more since she's the figure head of the Alliance and Rebellion.

 

Well they had save enough of their animation budget to build the model. That probably took them some time to do.

 

yeah, her hair must of cost 5 million to animate.

 

That would be a heck of a hair dressing bill.

 

They could save that wig asset for an animated post ROTJ Luke, just color it yellow.

 

If only Sabine stuck around long enough to meet Mon Mothma on the Ghost. Those two could have become gal pals and sit and gossip with eachother at the hair salon.

 

I was wondering what if Mothma sat on wet paint...

 

This was just INCREDIBLE!!! That last senator that spoke out in S1 just didn't work out but SHE DID!

 

Anytime an OT characters shows up in Rebels, it makes it a more connected better show. Glad they brought her on and hope to see other Rebellion generals and imperial officers.

 

So does Mon even know that Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus are Jedi? Based on her lines in Rogue One, the Rebel Alliance has no Jedi available by the Battle of Scarif.

 

She says she's heard of Ezra, though in their personal interactions he never displayed his Jedi abilities. I'd have to imagine though, in the next season with all the stuff mentioned about her fallout with Saw that Ezra and Kanan would have to be involved if it came to violence. Saw certainly knows of them as Jedi, so it may come up in the ideological arguments within the rebellion leadership.
