Ooh! Ooh! I finally get to do it.
I feel like someone needs to make a counter meme for that. There's only so many times a gang of poorly washed terrorists can beat up on the poor bourgeoisie loyalist with no way to defend himself... sooner or later, the Empire will inevitably, say, strike back.
Oh man, that will make Jello angrier than a thousand Mon Mothmas!
It's the neo-communists around here (yes, we have neo-communists). They won't shut up about the bourgeoisie, it's always on my mind.
Still, Jello sees himself as "gently born", and they hate no one more than those who are "in trade."
About the cards: I like the advisors' card talk about dealing with the threat of other races - not other races doing anything, just existing. Even in their own propaganda, the empire simply oozes with menace and cannot help but slip just how evil they really are.
Loving the new banner. Corellia FTW!!!!
It's so 2005. I love it!
I tried, but sadly failed, to dig up that thread from years ago condemning Padme for parading 3 different snazzy outfits in front of the Larses - 2 of them blue, symbolizing water opulence.
Started Heir to the Empire again. First time I read it it was only available in English and I had. Very poor English. But all books in a book store here were 50% off for women to celebrate the International Women Day, so I took advantage of that to buy a few, and Heir to the Empire was one of them.
Brazilian version of the book has a really sweet message from Timothy Zahn, so I guess we're off to a good start. I'm excited to know what the fuss over this book is all about now that I don't have to struggle to understand half of what's going on.
Nice! I'm finally hitting Hand of Thrawn duology for the first time myself, via Marc Thompson unabridged audio. Really enjoying it.
So basically, 2017 Myself to Circa 1998 Myself:
Not too long before I'll go forth into NJO and finally be able to come back to the forum here, and be all
That was also me, but 2001-me to 1998-me. Also over HOT duology (and getting back into the EU in general). Guess it makes for a good return-to title.
Indeed. Calling me bourgeois is tantamount to questioning my legitimacy and parentage. Duels have been fought over less.
Missa ab iPhona mea est.
... are you challenging me to a duel?
I think you're challenging me to a duel.
Indeed. But what?
Marvel just released a trailer for their new batch of X-Men comics, their choice of music is top notch
Am I alone in expecting the Gen X title will kill of at least half the characters?
Hell yeah!!!! They are finally doing adds for the comics in front of shows and the like. This will really help sales. I am gonna check out Blue and Astonishing for sure. Maybe Wolverine if it is a good jumping on point. Since I dropped DD prematurely and IM was shifted around, I have not read a non SW Marvel book. Not that I am complaining cause Rebirth has been great thus far.
On that note - Your father was a hamster, and your mother smelt of elderberries.
Starfighters at dawn.
Problem is that is aimed at one poster, and the counter would need to aimed at several....
And the Millennials title will be mobile only...
You mean how like the Rebellion was aimed at screwing over the Emperor, and the Empire was aimed at screwing over everyone?
*throws down gauntlet*
Hey man, you might need that gauntlet.
I binged The People vs. OJ Simpson on Netflix over the last few days. What a great series, and I say that as someone who has liked 3/5 of American Horror Story and nothing else Ryan Murphy has done. I feel like that show so perfectly captured the zeitgeist of 2016, it's almost eerie that it was filmed in mid-2015.
This is amazing.
I'm so glad this show is back. Tonight's episode had some crazy awesome bits. Genndy's still got it.
