    The CGI is definitely dated- but I think most people have had some level of exposure to late-90's/early-00's video games and the CGI on B5 isn't much different there, so making that leap to immerse yourself shouldn't be that difficult.

    Though the CGI for the first season and a half is probably a little rougher just because it's a little more stiff while it definitely becomes more fluid, dynamic and entertaining as the series progresses. It certainly made the space battles more visually interesting, complex and epic than comparable Star Trek battles at the time (episodes of B5 season 3 have more ships on screen at once than probably anything DS9 or VOY ever showed [even late-series], with possible exception to DS9 Sacrifice of Angels [season 6]- and even then, it'd be close).

    Not bad for something that began pre-Toy Story.

    Looking it up, JMS mentioned it was actually the pilot, The Gathering, that broke the record (though it may have been for number of ships in a single shot). So, yeah, Severed Dreams, Shadow Dancing and Into the Fire would have annihilated their own record.

    I always took it to mean some combination since I would assume there are elevator shafts going horizontal as well so there would be a number for how many vertical and how many horizontal. 2ndquest has the best answer though

    So my Imperial Ruling Council committee at the college-level Model UN Conference kicked off well. Kaine, Harrsk, and Grant were spearheading the defense against the NR, and got hit hard, falling back to the Core and the Tapani worlds. Betl Oxtroe, Tremayne, and Sarcev Quest have been amassing a strong faction of peaceniks, while Nom Anor has already assumed a deep cover position inside the IRC. Tomorrow . . . we'll see.
