Could we see Adam Driver riding a Krayt Dragon and attacking Hamill, Boyega and Ridley.

I may be in the minority, but I really liked the design of the Rontos in the SE of ANH. I wouldn't mind seeing them in the background again if we are returning to Tattooine.

It'd be crazy cool to see an entire sarlacc on the surface and not buried underground.

They should get ideas from that Star Wars Creatures role playing supplement. That book has some very cool monsters.

I wonder why Krayt dragons haven`t appeared already. Logically, such monsters should terrorise the population, or at least the hordes of buffaloes (sorry- banthas) that walk around on Tatooine.

True, that's why I hope for an adaption of the "Kenobi" novel.
I don't know if any of you played SWG back in the days, but I remember my first encounter with a Krayt fondly
Seriously, I would love to see a Hutt eaten by a Krayt.

I guess they didn`t want to turn Star Wars into Jurassic Park...

I hope they keep the Krayt dragons out only because I always thought it was cool when c-3po walks by the skeleton of one and just keeps a mystery is better

Monsters are the one thing I'm slightly worried about. I thought the monsters in Star Trek, Cloverfield, and Super 8 were all cut from the same generic and unimaginative cloth, which leads me to believe that's just JJ's taste. I'm hoping the effects team can come up with some unique-looking ones more in the vein of Star Wars.

Personally, I think they should look to use some of Ralph McQuarrie's old designs for new creatures in the ST, like this giant albino spider-creature that almost appeared to Luke on Dagobah:

I think this is a valid concern. I cant remember at all what the snow monster thing in Trek or the super8 monster looks like in my minds eye.

Fortunately, JJ has all the talent of ILM to back him up with some sweet designs.

Ok since I dont know much about Star wars monsters, I'll just start listing monsters I would like to see: Sully and Mike, Ursula, the Kraken, Prince Hans (he counts), Monstro, Dragon Maleficent, Hydra (like have Hydra agents control an actual giant Hydra), Stitch, and Chernabog. [face_dunno]
Hey its Disney, they can find a way. :p

But I guess in all seriousness, I'd always like to see monsters that are more on the scary/terrifying side than cutesy wootsy/noble steed kind.

New creatures on new planets old creatures on old planets. Because different animals on different worlds is how it would work in reality.

I would not like to see any monsters again from previous episodes. It's not necessary to rehash absolutely everything from the OT, which, based on what we have seen so far, seems like is already being done.

It's time to see some new monsters.
