Phx Monthly Battletech Party!

well, i had a blast having everyone over for a little wanton destruction! let's do this once a month!

 

I wouldnt mind hosting! Neither would my mom.

 

Per the december gaming post the 5th, sunday, is the next RPG session so I wouldn't be able to make that day.

 

Same here. And the 3rd/4th is my LAN party.

No offense meant, Scott, but I'd rather play at my house. I have a bit more room available.

So if you don't mind, and it's cool with everyone else, we can plan it for my house on the 12th.

 

i would prefer moe's because we can have the whole game room to ourselves, and be as loud and boisterous as we want...moe's place has my vote...

 

I'm good at moes, your living room is pretty cramped for all of us. No offense scott.

 

also: i would like to offer my services as a mini painter!
i have been counted as a pretty good paintist of mini's (ask moridin and darth myles!) so if anyone would like me to paint a mini for them for a small fee(battletech or otherwise)all you have to do is give me the mini and tell me what kind of paint scheme you want! it should take me from a couple of days to a week depending on the mini.
let me know if you guys want to do this!

Hey my friend darren at Imperial Outpost said he would not mind us playing at his store once a month we just need to tell him the place.

 

i've played there before...

it's not bad if you want to play with miniature rules, he has alot of terrain we can use, but it does get rather crowded in there...

not a bad idea if we want to mix it up from time to time, throw in a mini game instead of hex maps...thanks greedo!

 

He said we could do what ever you want. Terrain or hex it doesnt matter. He just wants people to come in and do it so he can get some buisness he doesnt care.

 

i found a classic battletech game!

Game Depot on Southern and McClintock in Tempe runs a classic battletech game every six weeks! the next one is on saturday, jan 4th, at 10:00am. i know this is the same day as moridin's lan party, but i will be going to this. they do this every six weeks, so we could definately all catch this some time!

it is a "battlemech tag" game, with some different rules, but its pretty cool! (i have all the rules, i will prolly post them all later) they use GeoHex, which is 3d terrain but hexed so you dont have to convert to mini rules!

let me know if you aren't going to moridin's lan party and want to go to this with me!
(or if you go to moridin's friday night you could swing this in the morning!)
