Spok, WA Monthly get togethers

I got to thinking about the low turn out and somewhat disorganized nature of some of the group events lately. To this end, I am proposing we standardize twice monthly get togethers. Held on the second and last Saturdays of every month (barring unforseen complications or schedule conflicts) Have prop/costuming meetings at my place (or elswhere if anyone wants to host now and then) on the 2nd Sat. and then for the other, an event of some type: movie, or Munchkin, whatever.

So to start out, Let's have the first one on Saturday January 10th. starting at 1:30 ish

What say you my friends? Thoughts? Ideas? "Smudge is smoking crack"?

I'm good for that. I should be able to make one of those meetings for the most part. I also have a paintball team I will be practicing with at least once a month too, that's why I can't say I'll make both.

It'd be great to get people together that often. I doubt I'd be able to make it to more than one per month until springtime at least, but having two gives everyone more of an opportunity to make it to at least one. And scheduling them regularly helps too, since it's predictable when we need to try to have time off, etc. I say give it a try and see how it goes, we can always change it up to work out any kinks later.

 

I love this idea. Consistency has been one of our downfalls.
