OK Because we are kinda split on when to get together, We are going to accomodate everyone.

The guys from Montreal who want to come down on Victoria Day are comming, and If anyone wants to join us, you are more than welcome to do so.

Canada Day is also going to happen for thoes of us who are free then also (Or only free then)

We are still figuring out what to do, but some sort of BBQ seems to be in order.

Please reply here to let us know if you can make it.

you figure if you go to the museum of science and tech theres is a huge park out front of there and also the Midway isnt far from there either. Mind you not really any BBQ's there though...at least i dont think...

We can bring our own! And if we do it by the MST, we could go play mini put at the Midway. It is just right next door, I think.

Personnally I really want to see the War museum, as it is the only one I have yet to see. If no one else wants to see it, then I'll go with the majority, but Science and Tech is always fun. We could hit Hooters for lunch :p I hear they have mad chicken wings :)

Hooters?!? I'd prefer Elephant & Castle over Hooters!

I'd be happy to go to the War Museum as well. I haven't been there in about 7 years. I'd also be happy with the Museum of Nature. As with KitFist0, I'll go with the majority. :)

Sorry to dissapoint, but Hooters doesn't exist in Ottawa anymore. Besides, there are better places for chicken wings, trust me.

Call this timing, or the Force or whatever will let you sleep at night, but I found this while riding the Metro this week:

    http://www.mvnf.civilisations.ca/cmc/petra/petrae.html

just in case the Temple doesn't ring a bell, it's from the Last Crusade, another work of Uncle George. and guess what it's in Gatineau.

Now I don't know about you, but I sure would like to see that exhibition.

Hey we are a loose group :p

If we all agree, I would like to see that too.

You guys wanna go there instead of the Aviation Museum?

The MOC is a really cool museum! I'd be up for that...not sure if Elyse would be though. I will have to ask her. Being pregant, she has been tired lately, so we'll see.

    Saturday Events:

    -none?

    -4pm BBQ/Dinner (location ???)

-8pm SW en Direct broadcast at the Radisson Ottawa 402 Queen St.

    Monday
-11am Brunch at the Elgan street diner (adress?)

    Attendees:

Also why don't we go to a restaurant instead of doing a BBQ park thing? It leaves more room for discussion and is independant of the weather and crowds.

kit has a great idea about eating outside with a BBQ. The weather may not cooperate with us on the day we want. I too think having dinner somewhere would be a safer bet. Now all we have to do is find a place to go.

List of Montreal Attendees according to verbal confirmation in the last week:

    -KitFist0 + 1
    -GoddessJainaSoloFel
    -Uilmuteiz
    -Marianne_Solav
    -Lady_Jedi_Skywalker
    -Beezel
    -Elizabeth
    -Wookiemart
    -Sith_Messenger + 1 (not confirmed)

I have to agree that a restaurant might be more convenient as we would otherwise have to buy our BBQ groceries on Sunday as we have no fridge to keep our meat, etc in at the hotel. Also judging by the weather the last week and with what the forcast appears to be like so far this week, the weather is not with us!

I'm looking forward to doing a little sight seeing Saturday afternoon as one of the people I'm bringing is from Albany New York, and has never been to Ottawa before.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone from ottawa next weekend! :D

Perhaps at least a couple of the members of the Ottawa Fan Force would be interested in coming back to the hotel for the Star Wars en Direct show? As it stands right now, the main topic for next weekend's show is "SWD#86 The Tales from short collections". It would be great to have some extra voices and opinions for the live show from Ottawa :D
