More beautiful: The return of Bail to Alderaan or the return of Dooku to Coruscant?

Both are extremely poignant moments in their own right, but I for one like Dooku's ride through Coruscant to Sidious' layer much better.

 

Dooku. No question.

Returning to a world which happens to be the home of the Jedi Council. That takes serious gall.

 

All I can say is: I would love to live on Alderaan!
I would have to move out some time before ANH, of course....

I was thrilled to finally see Alderran, it looks like Naboo with snow.
I hate Dooku so I dont like him returning alive anywhere.

 

Easily Dooku's return. The ominous chorus, sunlight reflecting off Coruscant as the sailer approaches the planet and the camaraderie between the bad guys makes it one of my favorite scenes in SW.

 

Man, Dooku's return to Coruscant uh duh of the best parts uh duh flick.

 

I didn't like Dooku's return that much... I didn't think Coruscant looked that good... It was grey and ugly. Alderaan is more beautiful, and thats what its asking for. I'll have to watch AOTC again to judge more clearly.

It's almost surreal at times when I watch it.

 

The return to Alderaan. We get to see it for the first time, with Leia's theme playing. The setting isn't just beautiful, the moment is emotional because Leia is going to her new home.

I'd have to say that the Bail Organa homecoming is more "beautiful." However the Dooku return is haunting and beautiful in it's own right. They're both killer scenes for sure.

 

The return to Alderaan for sure.

I wouldn't say Dooku's return is beautiful at all. Brooding, haunting and sinister is the way I would decribe that scene, certainly not beautiful.

Alderaan really was beautiful, though. I've waited for 30 years to see Alderaan, and to come at such a sad moment in the movie, and to look so gorgeous, that was pure beauty.

 

Dooku returning to Coruscant. Probably one of the best visual scenes of the saga. The colours, the music, the mood... all of them are beautiful.

I didn't like Alderaan in ROTS, didn't live up to the anticipation for me. Let's just say I don't care anymore that Alderaan gets blown up in ANH.

 

Darth_China, are you saying that you think that there was beauty within the darkness of the scene?

It's definatly true that darkness can be beautiful - SOmething we saw in ROTS with Mustafar.

 

I personally liked Bail's return to Alderaan, but Dooku's return to Coruscant was more significant, in my opinion.

 

The music from the Coruscant scene is much more poignant and adds to the beauty of the scene.

 

Dooku's return is cooler.
