You've captured my interest, Sara. I've been looking for a very good fic to read with an Ep 3 theme. I've always wondered what it would have been like if even the hint of a 'love triangle' was explored.

Ok, so before my replies get longer than the post, here it is!!

Padmé and Jenné were once again in the cockpit. It was silent, neither wanting to speak.

Padmé was still thinking about the dream. She could think about it without getting sick now. She was pondering what it had meant, and why she had had it.

Was she really going to die like that? That was one of the most horrible deaths she had ever seen. The only ones that rivaled it were the ones on the battlefields of the Clone Wars. She had no wish to go back there anytime soon. She just hoped that the war would end.

But?.that dream?.it had been so?.disturbing and?.disgusting.

She wrapped her arms around her stomach looking for comfort in her unborn children. She found it there, in their love and hers.


Jenné, likwise, sat deep in thought. What did the dream mean? The only explanation she could think of, was either that it really would happen, or that it was just a dream.

If it were really going to happen, Jenné would protect her until her last breath. She and Padmé had been longtime friends, and she would not run away while her friend was killed. She would stand by her side until her death. But it looked like, from the image, that she wouldn?t be there at the end.

It could be just a dream, most likely. With all the recent trouble, Padmé was very likely to have nightmares. Yes! It was only a nightmare.

But Jenné just couldn?t convince herself of that.


Both women were forcefully brought out of their thoughts by the appearance of a large object on the radar.

?What?s that?? Padmé asked, slightly alarmed but trying not to show it.

Jenné tried desperately to avoid being seen by the larger ship as she answered. ?Another ship. Padmé, I?m not sure how to tell you, but?he?s found us.?

I don't really know what to do with this story. Again, it was a great idea at the beginning, but when I read it, I don't like the way I've written it. I'll keep posting if people want to keep reading, but I personally think that my writing is horrible. I don't think I'm doing justice to the characters.

hmmm very very interesting... I wanna see how you handle vader's evil... will he repent? I've always believed that Padme was the key to redeeming Vader, but the Jedi Council kept Padme from Vader, which led to his down fall...
