What they did or should have done.

Regrets and happier times tangled together in a hopeless muddle.

If only turned into I wish.


An eternity became yesterday.

There was more to love than what anyone saw or expected.
Even in the promise of a tomorrow - gone too soon.

This is a sweet song to describe Han and Leia's complicated relationship.

As older people, they know that their relationship can't last forever; nothing lasts forever. But you don't think about the end of the love affair when you're lost in that heady intoxication of its beginning. Growing old is just a way of saying goodbye to the ones who mattered to you, and wishing that maybe you might have done it differently, and knowing that it is too late now to change it.

 

A nice song fitting for Han and Leia in the new canon

 

The new canon makes me sad. In legends they had one another and three wonderful children for a very long time, but here everybody fights for himself/ herself. Sigh!

Dear Azure, your supportive readership means worlds And I agree. But I want to celebrate the loveliness of soulmate-hood in whatever timeframe they happen to be existing in and in my own heart canon, I'll always give them a happy ending although they will have hardships and struggles.
