You meen vampire clan? Is it spelt Clan Berne. It's great, your stealth skills rocket and your combat skills almost double. I went to the Molag Amur mountains to become a vampire.

well, yes i've slain some vampires from time to time. but how is it that one goes on to become a vampire? i've heard they're really not all that they're cracked up to be.

You need 2 let them kick you`re butt until you see a
    change on you`re bonus/penalty thing
(where ya see blue and red above health and above spells)
When thats happened go outside and wait/sleep for 3 days...
BOOM! YA A KICK AZZ VAMPIRE!...different bonuses depending on what clan that infected ya...Ya get special vampire quests frome you`re clan. You can`t compleate the game if you are a vampire and you can`t become a vampire if you got imunity 2 disseases!...unless you buy a spell that increases the chance of getting disseases and maximise it to 100 (or 200?)

It`s the werewolf that`s useless! I think ya get great agility and stealth, but ya transform into a werewolf EVERY night! Ya can get a ring that gives ya some control over it I think...ONLY ON BLOODMOON

I think they fixed the game so that you can`t become a vampire and and be a werewolf at the same time.

Yeah, Vampirism isn't all it's cracked up to be, but with mods (I know you guys can't use them :p) the experience gets a lot better, from what I've heard. There's a very popular mod called Vampire Embrace that allows you to "embrace" any person, which is basically to bring them into your clan (some distinguished members of the Morrowind online community have made their own Vampire clans with hundreds of members) as a Vampire. I haven't actually played it, but it adds a lot of rolepaying actions for a Vampire, such as the ability to disguise yourself to go about town, and real blood sucking.

There is also a mod that allows you to start the game as a special vampire, you have have loads of ablitiys and spells, even a personal star-sign.

Well, Clan Aundae is for magic users, Clan Quarra is for warriors and Clan Berne is for sealth. I have some interesting links that tell you about them:

Jedi Solo, have you tried either of those (I'm being curious, not standoffish)?

I haven't with any of my characters, but my friend wanted me to show him how to become a werewolf (since I introduced the game to him), and from the few minutes of playing as his character, it's insanely fun to run around at about one hundred kilometers per hour, and to jump several meters in distance.

Axle, if you're still looking for the Mudcrab merchant, I found that this site has a simple and concise walkthrough for finding the mudcrab, as well as a whole bunch of other obscure things.

Do I risk any viruses,Toyan Horses, etc? Whats da bad part?
    Do I need 2 pay?

Do I get 2 see a cool slow motion cinematic of my character slowly walking up 2 an inocent citisen and sinking his fangs in Him/her? Blood?

What do you mean hundreds of members? Morrowind is not an online game...you mean NPCs?

DAMN!!! If only I had the requiered IQ 2 make real use of that Construction Set!!!...Unfortunately PCs are something I have no skills with.

By members, I mean people on forums. There are two large Morrowind forums, Morrowind Summit, and the official Elder Scrolls Forums. By the second members (clans full of hundreds of members), I mean NPCs.

All mods that you can download off of known sites (Morrowind Summit, ElricM, Tessource) are all clean mods. You don't need to pay to download any mods, but you do have to set up a fileplanet account (it's free- don't worry) to download mods from Morrowind Summit.

Here is a link to Morrowind Summit, and this is Telesphoros' List O' Mods, which is a list of some of the best mods around. You can only have 255 mods before you have to start combining them together, and make sure you read tutorials on how to install mods properly before you try; it can save a lot of grief if you're unexperienced.

    And I`m abel 2 get em,but 2 stupid 2 know what2 do...
Yeah I know what Sapphron said, but I`m not sure if I want 2 risk destroying my new save. A lot of the times I use the Construction Set a message comes up Saying
"Errors might have occured" or "corrupted data"
    "can`t locate created dead NPC"
(which I created then deleted frome game)
Then my created NPC duplicate twins! ANNOYING!!!

How can I create my OWN Race/Species,Hight,Skin Color, face?

So how far in the game have ya guys gotten? ya found anything fun/interesting?

I found an Orc that belived he was a Cat! I complimented his tail and gave him some Moon Sugar,in return he told me about a strange glove he had hidden beneate his pillow.
Fork of horripilation? yeah,I found it.So I`m supposed 2 use it 2 kill one of em flying buggers?

Can I do God quests while I`m the Nerevarin?

frome the cave...U know da place where U have 2 hit those damned rocks in unison with the rocks above...HOW MANY TIMES AM I SUPPOSED 2 HIT THEM!?

Hullo! Yup, I'm new! Just got Morrowind GOTY edition, and frankly I'm stuck

    Type: Brenton
    Class- Mage
    Weapon- dagger

I am getting killed left and right! My weapon can't hit if my life depended on it (and trust that it has) a rat killed me for Nerverine's sake! I want to be a uber powerful wizard, anyone, help!

well, first of all, you're starting off all wrong. you can be a powerful mage indeed if you have the skills. but what's most important is to get yourself some skills that can make you good from the very beginning. that whole dagger thing, well, that's going to be hard to get tough with that from the beginning. i'd advise making yourself a custom class that has both weapon and magical skills. that way you have the fundamentals you need to make you strong from the beginning and you also leave yourself room to grow magically. your starting race and sign also help greatly in this capacity. when i started, i hated everything i made myself or any class i picked because i got wasted by way too many easy enemies i.e. mudcrabs, rats, and those weird little slugs that spit green slime at you. so, you should make a strong custom class and use an easy race to work with like dark elf, that way you get good longblade bonuses and you're immune to diseases and fire.
