New information regarding the next Mortal Kombat game (Mortal Kombateadly Alliance) has been leaking out, and this news attached a screen logo.

Eight characters will absolutly return (perhaps more): Scorpion, Subzero, Raiden, Jax, Sonya, Reptile, Shang Tsung, and Quan Chi.

The game's plot will revolve around Quan Chi and Shang Tsung's quest to gain IMMORTALITY.

It is determined to challenge YOU this fall!!!

At least its not constant spin offs like Street Fighter, there's been about 20 Street Fighter 3 titles.

 

I don't know where is Johnny, but I heard he will be resurrected in the next movie.

Liu Kang (Ultimate winner of the last two movies) is not absolutely in this game either, that's the most strange.

Good thing, Sub-Zero will be back! He is my favorite!

It was really a shame, that the movie Mortal Kombat: Annihilation was so bad... it had the coolest characters, but the acting, drama etc was horrible

 

It will be interesting to see how this game does. I was a big MK fan back in the day.

I can kick butt with either sub zero or Johny Cage.

With Cage not showing up in MK5 I'll more than likely be relying alot on just Sub-zero untill I beat the game, then try some of the other charaters out.


I hope this game's another FLAWLESS VICTORY for the franchise, either way I can't wait!!!

Mortal Kombat reached the realm where the violence was just unnecessary. That's where Capcom has been so successfull with the Street Fighter and Marvel lines.

I always used to like Primal Rage. Anyone else use to play that?

I was always the snow monkey.

 

I played that. I loved the Raptor.

Ah yes, Primal Rage. I remember one of the ape characters had a special move where he stood on his head and farted a big green floating bubble that floated across the screen and knocked you out if it hit you.

I doubt it will ever live up to the greatness of Pong Kombat

 

I gave up on mk a looooong time agon, and i only play trilogy now (thats the best), but after reading a interview with the creator Ed Boon, he says he's disapointed where the series has gone, and hopes that this game will bring back the good name. Until then i'll just play that crappy metal gear solid ripoff with Jax. LOL

Another Mortal Kombat game? What the heck? When was I told about this pile of crap? Oh wait I don't care! In all honesty, I did really like MK a long time ago, but I think it just plain stinks. Fighting games have no substance. Especially the MK series as of late.
