Hey all..Hobby Lobby has sewing classes for $10. The wife and I are planning to take a class sometime in AUG so, I can work on my ARC clone duster. I have a sewing machine and have only done limited modifications to my jedi costume so this class should be good!

Oh, hey guys, my MR blaster came in today. It's pretty cool. All 20 lbs of it. Feels like real weaponry.

So who wants to play with my blaster?

Not yet...Mike said I should have it in about 2 more weeks. The hurricane set him back some. I have to say though he hooked me up pretty good. My DC rifle is about done and so is my helmet (EII ARC). I'll have to check out how you assembled everything. The belt looks to be the most complicated. Did you see this bad boy???

That outfit is sick. Roman, you going with an EP III ARC or II? It sucks making a decision on 1 set of armor huh? We saw a Commander Bly at the Comic Con. Lookd pretty good, but a bit too short.

    [face_laugh] [face_laugh] [face_laugh] Too funny!

Yea I decided to go with the EII ARC. It's was easier to get the helmet and padulon for it. Yea it totally blows that we have to decide between the two. But....once the MR helmets come out I may modify it once again. I have two complete sets of armor any way (granted one of them really sucks!).

So Red ARC EII clone it is! Hey what boots are you using???? I heard CA is coming out with some finally.....or I guess the Kenneth Cole Reaction boots might work as well.

    Hey guys,

I'm looking to get started on a Tusken costume. I'm unsure as to where to start though. Can anybody help me out and point me in the right direction? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jen

Hey guys, SImplicity is getting really bold. They are rolling out the new fall patterns and they are just rippping off LFL. Its great they are making them, but I wonder if LFL will vrack down on them.Pattern 4433 is battle arena Padme and aayla. Pattern 4443 is senate padme and ANH leia. Pattern 4450 is traditional jedi, Anakin and the leader of utapu. Thay are even calling the the "Star warriors" Collection.

Click here to see the new patterns. You have to click on the individual costumes to see them all.

    wow!! that is bold!

i'm gonna have to get them...that'll make things a bit easier for my aayla costume-- it's all about the fabric to make it real though.

    thanks for the heads up!!

Hey clem, I don't have a trooper costume or anything but do you think that hockey puck marks might make the trooper costume look like the #41 clone picture with the black markings?

I was talking about the costumes. Couldn't a puck give that nice scuffed up look?

I don't think so because they come pre-glossy and I don't think the pruck mark will stick. And you don't want to like throw it off of it becaue it will crack the plastic.
