Most annoying!

    Why does Yoda look so different from movie to movie. They just can't keep his looks consistent:

    The TPM yoda is quite thin and muscular looking:

    In AOTC he's got a much rounder and older face and looks nothing like the TPM one:

    In TESB he rounds up a completely new look once again:

    In ROTJ he is rounder and more granny-like:

    It does seem that the ROTJ-Yoda is the basis for the CGIed one in AOTC.

    No doubt Uncle George will go back and change it, so he looks the same in all films.

    I think the explanation is just that he's getting older, especially by RotJ, where he's dying. The AotC Yoda was based mostly on the ESB puppet, but they also adjusted it slightly to look a little like the TPM puppet, too, so it's somewhere in the middle, but mostly ESB.
