Most Dramatic Moment

What was the sceen(s) from Star Wars that make your plams moist, and make your feet stiff? What made you hold your breath? What was the most dramatic moment . . . .

I personally like the " I love you " speech by Padme' right before they went into the arena. The Across the Stars theme that followed was just . . . boom

Another was when you see all the Jedi get plowed down in Attack of the Clones. They went down like warriors . . . .

 

For me it has always been Anakin's redemption. It's such a phenomenal scene. Vader may be wearing a mask, but somehow you can see the emotion on his face. As he looks back and forth between Luke and Palpatine, you can see the conflict. When he finally reaches for Palpatine and that music swells up... forget it, I'm gone...

Great moment.

 

The Vader redemption scene, and when the Falcon saves Luke in the Death Star trench in ANH.

 

DarthMak: The Han saving Luke in the Death Star trench is no doubt my favorite scene.

Yet I don't see at as "dramatic" as much as it brings a smile to your face in the old fashioned "bad @$$ character comes through in a clutch".




I also agree with the Anakin Redemption scene- the way he looks back and forth and then gallantly strides over to destroy the Emperor is just so classic. Love it.

Vader's redemption: Gives me chills no matter how many times I see it.

 

Me too . Especially the "Father please" line.

Off subject but I think the Emporer kills Padme' the same way that he tried with Luke. that would add SO much drama when he does it to Luke. Lots of Drama.

Maybe even better if Anakin was already turned and was THERE to witness Palpatine zap her. Then he would do the same "looking back and forth" thing, but would side with Palpy.

Oh my, that would be sooooo dramatic. I wouldn't be able to sleep for, well...I doubt I would sleep ever again after that...

I think I would if Padme' dies at the hands of the emporer. But it would add So much drama to Return of the Jedi, especially for future audiences.

 

I don't believe that Anakin will let the Emperor kill Padme because he loves her very much and after what happened to his mother, he has made a vow to Padme that he would stop people from dying. He would kill anyone that dares to harm her, even the Emperor himself but if he doesn't, he would be labeled a hypocrite for turning his back on his vow and standing idly while his beloved wife is being killed by the Emperor.

As for the most dramatic moment, the part where Vader threatens to turn Leia over to the darkside which pisses Luke off causing him to beat the crap out of Vader.

The music in this scene made this a more powerful scene.

How about most sad moment?

I would say when Vader dies.

I would say Anakin and Padme going into the arena, but I already knew that they would have to make it. Thats the bad part about having prequils first, you know that the heros wont get hurt until a certain point.

 

Just before they freeze Han. It was awful.
