There's a force FX sabre, a Ben Kenobi bobblehead, Ben Kenobi animated style Gentle Giant statue, Lupin wand, Sirius wand, skull, deerstalker, and pipe on my bookshelf. So obviously I'm extremely awesome. Sorry to disappoint, but I'm just not that embarrassing. EDIT: Oh, and to crown it, some Obi-Wan Russian stacking dolls. This is the opposite of embarrassing.
The wands tick the appropriate box, cheers. For me, the hardcover novelisations of the Prequels. I... I have no excuse.
Hey, Stover's ROTS is one of the best things to ever come out of Star Wars. And I say this as someone who generally dislikes the EU. I like that it's the wands that do it. Evidently stacking dolls are kosher.
Not embarrassed, but I'm pretty sure I have closing in on at least 100 Star Trek novels from all eras (including the novelization of the last movie)
Within reach, on my desk, I've got percocet, stool softener, prescription strength ibuprofen, over the counter ibuprofen, a flowvent inhaler, an albuterol inhaler, and singulair. I feel slightly handicapped.
A little ceramic angel that looks a bit kitschy sits on my desk. It's a gift from an old aunt, might be slightly embarrassing, but I still like it.
Nothing really embarrassing in current eyesight, except for a copy of the book The Book of Sexy Sex on my shelf, which has Kristen Schaal on the cover reenacting The Birth of Venus while wearing underwear and knee-high socks, and does so on the book's spine. (And no, I did not get the book just for that. It's pretty funny in its own right, but the cover, it's just awkward, is all)
See, mine's in my closet so it's not visible. Although it's still not embarrassing because I got a Jan Stenerud jersey. You can never become embarrassed of a hall of famer from 40 years ago. (The same can't be said for my brother's old Larry Johnson jersey).
There's this awkward charcoal painting of my ex-fiance on the wall. I don't know what to do with it, and it's charcoal so I can't put it in a closet or something because it will get everything dirty.
Thought about it. I always don't do it, though, because I feel like that's a crazy-person move. Eh? I have standards. It does make it awkward when other girls come over though...
burning it is a bit crazy yes, but you could always just toss it or give it to goodwill or something.
