Most emotional SW theme yet?

There are emotions other than love, romance or sentimentality. Anger, pride, excitement, anxiety...

The IM played as Vader dies elicits sadness, but I get emotional in a different way when I hear it full-blown. I was pretty darn pumped driving home at 3:00 a.m. after hearing & seeing "Dawn of the Empire" for the first time.

Do you mean the Darth Vader's Death version? Because the March is not what somebody would call emotional

There are other emotions then just love you know..... Both Dual of the Fates and the Imperial March (any version) are very emotional themes to me.

 

After watching AOTC,Anakin's theme really does it for me,especially the cue when Ani tells Padme his mother is in pain(on the balcony).

 

Maybe I have the problem.

English is a second language to me, and maybe for me emotional(music)=sentimental(music). My mistake.

By these standards you put, the March is certainly one of the most expressive themes.

 

Since there are the emotions other than joy, love, and the other sentemental emotions, I think that the darker emotions, anger, hate, sorrow, and lament also have a great place in an epic saga such as SW. In all of the cues that have the death or funeral of a great charicter in the story, there is a great ammount of emotion that is envoked by the music. With that said, I am not sure that I would be able to choose the cue that has the greatest emotion to it.

Well that's good because the thread says pick a THEME not a CUE...

This means the theme itself, not a particular arrangement of a given theme.

 

The Force Theme, but Across the Stars isnt far behind.

 

1.Love Theme(The Empire Strikes Back and especially when Han is being frozen in Carbonite)
2. Yoda's Theme (it always gives me a tear)

 

Yeah, Yoda's theme is really good.

 

Any piece of music from ESB always gives me the chills. Cannot forget about the final duel between Luke and Vader, that gives me super chills (super chills are chills to the next LeVeL uh!) and...Qui-Gon's theme is emotional I'm not sure why yet, it just might be really good music.

 

I think Luke and Leia's theme is possibly THE Worst Star Wars song ever created, besides: Jedi Rocks, but John Williams didn't write Jedi Rocks... i dont know why

 

Just FYI Obi-tres, Luke And Leia is not a "song".

So if you don't like that particular theme, then what do you like or consider the most emotional theme in SW (considering the title of the thread)? ?

 

I love "Luke & Leia".Im not sure if I put it on my list but it is a very emotional theme.

 

Luke & Leia is a good theme IMHO.

 

I too love Luke & Leia but it would not be on my list of most emotional. I think my least favorite of the major themes would be Princess Leia's theme.

 

The best theme is Han Solo and the Princess

 

Yeah, IMO Leia's theme is good but still not very ''hummable'' like the rest of the soft themes (Across the Stars takes the crown here). But it's still better than some love themes of some other adventure films I can think of

I would say the Force theme. However, just now as I sit writing a freaking annoying lab report and listening to the AotC soundtrack, I've come to the realization that "Across the Stars" (by which I mean track 2 of said soundtrack) is really the most beautiful piece of music I've ever heard. Anyone else with me?
