Abq Most expensive ticket you've ever gotten.

I don't know why, but I was thinking about this the other day. What was the most expensive ticket you've ever gotten. I got mine in Arizona last year for going 89 in a 75. It cost $156.

 

I was trying to figure out what ticket? Oh, traffic ticket.......

I got a good one...about $200 for going like 95 in a 75....at wonderful Bythe California...

 

We got one driving from Albuquerque to Midland, TX. We were taking our daughter to a diving meet, and had forgotten to account for the hour time difference. The ticket cost us somewhere around $180, and made us even later.

 

Ouch, and I thought mine was bad.

 

I have never gotten a ticket.....yet

 

Are you kidding? I had a '77 Trans Am with flames on it, and an '86 Firebird. Both of those cars got me more tickets than I can even count.

 

I got an $84 ticket for not wearing my seat belt in a City vehicle. My temps did as well. I almost got two more for them not being buckled. Make sure all paasengers in your vehicle are buckled so you don't get a ticket. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. G.I. JOE!!!!

 

I've had two warnings.

Got my first ticket before I even had a drivers license for not wearing one.

The damage was $99

 

Excessive Display of Speed, Wreckless Driving, Drag Racing -- $350. Almost lost my license.

I've been given warnings, but no citations.....knock on wood.

It was before Renaisance was all built up...the only thing down there was the Beach...I borrowed a souped up 5.0 Mustang and we were racing. I went up against an old Trans Am. Well, cops came and blocked off all the exits. Not one of my shining moments. The judge found me guilty, and sentenced me to driving school. So, on top of the $350 in ticket fines, I had to pay $55 for court fees and another $150 for driving school. Sucked my entire savings. If I had another ticket in 90 days, my license was gone. Needless to say, I minded my p's and q's for the next 3 months.

 

I just have one important question for ya Karen....

Did ya at least win the race??

 

But of course...I have only lost one race in my life...and that was to a corvette (but I did beet that guy off the line)

Those were the good old days......... muscle cars, empty streets at night, (well, not quite empty in this case, I guess), and cheap gas........

 

never had a speeding ticket, but lots of written warnings. I just show a little cleavage and I get away every time!

 

Yeah, and when someday your looks go, you can use the excuse that worked once for me, "Why officer! My ashtray was on fire and I had to speed to get to the nearest parking lot".

 

Ok, I knew that was coming... haha

Yeah, I got one for criminal speeding in Phoenix, AZ not more than 10 minutes from my desination as we were driving in from here... $245 and the cop actually asked me if I wanted to be taken to jain and arrested in front of my kids...

I was like "Yes, officer, please arrest me" because that would make my day... He was quite the jerk actually

All my other times of being pulled over I got off with probation... whoo hoo..

I am now a wanted fellon... just great... ha ha.
