The dark is generous, and it is patient, and it always wins—but
in the heart of its strength lies weakness: one lone candle is enough to
    hold it back.
Love is more than a candle. Love
    can ignite the stars.

Doing it 4-6,1-3 I think it works as a good ending. Happy ending? Not really but a workable ending none-the-less.

So if ROTS if the ending of the saga, then there is no need for ANH, TESB and ROTJ?

    Agreed.

His Imperial Majesty is triumphant: the singular example of successful villainy in all of Star Wars!

Read or watch the Saga 4-6 and then 1-3. Still works that way.

Someone was mentioning this to me the other day, but they eliminate 1 altogether. I'd keep it.

I've finished the Thrawn trilogy last week. It was a fun read. Some thing were a bit over the top, but it was a good story. After that I read Jedi Search. Not bad, fun adventure, even if the constant references to previous novels, comics and movie is annoying, and the idiotic indestructible Sun Crusher got captured quickly by the heroes, so it was out of the story. There was a few stupid things like Luke walking on lava that had my eyes rolling, but it was easy to dismiss such nonsense. I was wondering why there is so much hate for K.J. Anderson.

Then I read Dark Apprentice. God! Is it a deliberate joke or something? I just don't know where to begin. Threepio and Chewbacca team-up as the babysitters, Han and Lando constantly gambling over the Falcon, the Jedi training, every character suddenly becoming a complete moron, Daala the genius that can only win a battle if there is no opposition. Han going on a ski vacation with Kyp. They send Threepio into battle to the maw installation... Halfway through the book, I stopped reading and just skimmed to the end. What happened? Jedi Search wasn't bad. I didn't even read Champions of the force. Just read a summary on Wookieepedia.

I'm going to try "I, Jedi" next.

    No, it's 4, HS, 5, 1, 2, CW v1, TCW, CW v2, 3, Droids, Rebels, Ewoks, CoC, BfE, 6.

Basically you need to procrastinate as many hundreds of hours as possible between ESB and ROTJ. That's the way Lucas intended it.

I liked it as well, though even when I first read it I thought it ended REALLY suddenly, like they ran out of pages or something
