Whose all going to that?

I, unfortunately, can't make to the CII -stupid layoffs...however, i might make it the the comic con...which i do every year.

I just want to see who is planning to attend that?

...oh yeah, we're on 4 pages now in our boards!!!!!

 

I wouldn't mind going Saturday afternoon.

It's been awhile since I've been, but I could always go. I have a good time.

 

I'm going. I'v been to the last 4 or 5.

It a nice place to find those hard to find Star Wars toys.

Do we have any plans for a group thing at it?

 

Going to the spring Motor City Comic Con has been an annual event for the past 4-6 years myself. I plan on going again this year, Saturday as usual. I try to get there relatively early (10-11 a.m.).

 

I'll going as well. Only on Saturday, cause I have to work weekends.

I think that Sat. is usually the best day. Because I'm unemployed, I might volunteer for Fri. and get in free on Sat. Maybe, we could all meet at a designated place and time there for Sat. I'm usually there an hour before opening and there til close.

I've met the both of you at a couple of the comic cons.

 

Get outta town! You couldn't possibly have remembered my wife and I from a couple of Comic Cons. I'm not that interesting.
Due to our little boy she hasn't even gone to the last two. This is most peculiar.

 

Ok, I was just playin...Your wife and my wife used to work together in Lapeer at LCCU. At one Con -the only one that my wife ever went to, we recognized Dana and said "Hi" and I've seen you both at a couple of cons in the past. I believe it was the will of the force that we met again on the boards.

 

Ah. Then perhaps you are the one who dressed up as the Crow that one time?

I'll be there Saturday. Just look for the little bear in Jedi robes. I kid you not. I'm hoping to get nominated as the official mascot for the detroit fan force chapter.

 

I'm definitely going. With Episode II coming out, I have been on a huge Star Wars kick- even more than normal for me. I probably drive my roommates crazy. I don't know how they put up with me.

 

Yup just got my comic-con mailer and I will be there at 7am on Saturday.

well, i like gettin there early and bringing hot food in line and eating it infront of people, and watch the many masses try to use the jedi mind trick to let them infront of me...ha, jedi mind tricks don't work on F&B...only money...well, maybe.

 

Doors are at 10am, right? And people with pre-purchased tickets get in at 9am, or something like that...yes?

 

doors open at 10 advanced ticket holders get in 30 minutes early...

 

Only 30 minutes? Bah...watta jip...

 

Are we going to talk about this at the next meeting. Who's going, how to promot the group, and so on and so forth.
