I understand KnightWriter writes weekly handwritten letters to Steven Spielberg asking him to end his "no commentaries" policy and publicly deconstruct his filmmaking genius.

 

The series would need to be changed to an R rating, but it would probably be pretty hilarious.

I'd like to hear a commentary for any STAR WARS movie with a first-generation fan, a second-generation fan, and a moderator. I just think it'd be interesting to hear how their views on the movies compare.

 

More folks than just Matt Weiner doing Mad Men commentaries. Jon Hamm occasionally does some and he's always fun to listen to. There was a scene where Weiner was going deep into the history of this old Victorian era home with all of this wood paneling on the interior and how the former owner was a giant in the wood/lumber industry. Right as he completes the sentence, Hamm jumps in and mentions how that line could be better if taken out of context and said "He was in the wood industry, if ya know what I mean...". Spent the next few minutes trying to regain my composure after laughing so hard. I'm certain that the rest of the Mad Men cast could deliver commentaries just as fun and interesting as Hamm did.

On a side note, back in 2000 at a convention in St. Louis, a MSTie asked Mike Nelson if there'd be a non-riffing commentary done when MST3K-TM was released on DVD. Mike answered that such a thing would cause the movie to collapse in on itself and cause the Universe to end.
