Disney?Pixar's new film, Cars opens next Friday, June 9. I was thinking we could get together sometime that weekend and go see it.

Which day is best for everyone...Friday night, Saturday, Sunday?

Friday is cool. I was thinking about 7ish, and we can finalize the time when the showtimes are set.

What about the Edward's Greenway Plaza 24?

I figured that was pretty central. I usually go to Cinemark Webster or AMC Gulfpointe 30, but that's down here on the south side.

    What does everyone think?

That seems like a cool location ... I'll have to check the map out as I've never been to that theater (usually go to Edwards off of I-10).

Yeah, I've also only been to the Edwards on I-10. So, I don't know much about this theater, other than that it seemed pretty central.

Friends say the parking can be A challenge there. They like the I10 one better. If there is any construction on 59 that area is hard to get around.

I have been to the greenway theatre awhile back (but I didn't drive) and it is a slight pain to park there (in the garage) ... cool place though.

I'm interested in seeing the show ... if anyone else is and if nothing comes up on my schedule as a last minute deal.

Well, since we don't even have 5 people interested, there really isn't any reason to keep this plan going. But, obviously, anyone who wants to go, can still plan accordingly.

    Hi JediSearch

I took my kids to see it a couple of weeks ago.

I'm a pretty big fan of Pixar, and the kids really liked The Incredibles.

This one was good, but I'm afraid they got a little bored. They are 6 and 3.

    Did you see it yet?

Yes, I got to see it on Monday. I really enjoyed it. My wife and son are still in Kentucky trying to sell the house, so I went with my Mother-in-Law. I agree it was a little bit too long for kids. My wife told me that our son got pretty bored in the middle, but he did pretty well for a three year old. I can't believe the theater here in Alvin only costs $3.50 :D
