Dad and I just saw League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. It was great! It is even greater if you've read some of the source material - 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Picture of Dorian Grey, Tom Sawyer, etc. Sadly, since today's movie going audience is not that literate, I doubt that it will do very well.

We're meeting at Showplace East as usual, unless there are a staggering number of objections. We're seeing LXG, and the exact time will be confirmed when we're all there But there will be matinees around 4pm, so try to have a three hour block or so around then. Worst case scenario, we could end up seeing it at 2:30 again, but I doubt that'll happen.

 

Showplace East is by Eastland Mall - correct?
