Waco, TX Movie Night: Terminator 3 opens July 2

Well this sucks. I'm not going to be able to go see T3 again tonight. I signed up for cable internet and they moved my installation date up to today. It's one of those 3 to dark installation times. So, I have to be around for the cable guy since no one else will be home.

I'm sorry I won't be able to see your joy of watching this amazing movie.

Yeah, it sucks big time. The cable company had originally said it would be July 18th before they could send someone to hook up my internet, but then called today to see if I wanted it done earlier. Of course, the cable company can't ever give you a convenient time for installation.

 

What was everyone's opinion of the movie?

 

It was ok...I still liked the first Terminator movie better

 

I thought it was ok too. They needed to bridge the first and second movie more. The story was ok, they needed more explanation of what the TX was doing there...cause she stopped killing all of the Lt's and started to go after John. Was she suppose to start Judgement Day or what?

I thought liked it when the machines started to take over. I thought it would be cool to see John die...now that would have been a plot twist.

 

I give the movie 2 and a half stars out of 4. I thought the ending was too abrupt. I really liked the chase scene with the crane and how the Tx could control the other vehicles. I hope we don't have to wait another 12 years to conclude/continue this saga.

 

imho I actually thought they did a decent job of bridging the two movies. The logic was a little twisted. but otherwise made a strange sort of sense. I don't think that I would believe that she would recognize a guy from jr high 10-15 yrs after a one night kiss though. That was a little far fetched to me

 

Before judging a movie,lets see how it does at the box office money wise,thats a very good way to tell how good the movie went over.Personally I liked it.

 

You can't judge a moive by much money it make at the box office.

 

how about titanic,starwars,et,.I rest my case.

 

But Titanic sucked.

Moulin Rouge kicked Titanic @$$ as a movie but not at the box office.

The first Austin Powers movie flopped at the box office but was a huge video hit.

Spider-Man and Two Towers made more then Attack of the Clones does that make them better movies?
