ok.. my doctor's appointment has been rescheduled, so it looks like I should be on time-ish. see you all tonight.

That was fun, kids!! I'm thinking we can do the repeat on Thursday. If we do it on Friday, that gives me no time to clean before my family comes home. Is Thursday OK for everybody? I technically get out of rehersal at 6, but we've been getting out at 5 most nights so we could make it 6 again, I think. What do you guys think?

 

that would be wonderful. It's my long week at work, so I'll be a little later than I was yesterday.

And I'm curious -- how did everyone enjoy Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I know there were a few who had not seen it. Just curious as to your opinions.

I thought it might be fun to show a film that's somewhat obscure or has a less blatant connection to Star Wars than Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back or American Graffiti did.

 

I'm all about LOTR. Other than that, I'm game for anything. I do enjoy The Sandlot. I'm coming up blank on the SW connection, but that's alright. I'll try to find my copy of Corvette Summer, but I'm not sure it will happen.

Last night I got home right at 6. So here's my thought. If y'all get to my place and I'm not home from work yet, you can chill on my back porch. I'll leave the doors open. The porch is back by the driveway. I'll give Tom a call if I'm going to be a bit late. (Is that ok, Tom?) I can't WAIT for our repeat of Movie Night!!

i will watch lotr and i might even like it(now that i'm not spending 8.00 to watch) i'll bring all my ewan and harry stuff and you can pick for that junk. also little obi is coming with me.... tom.. ride??

 

Keep in mind that the version of LOTR I nominated is the 1978 animated version that most people tend to hate. But it's still good for a laugh. Or a cringe. Or a root canal. Plus, Anthony Daniels is in it.

If there's anything I can bring, let me know. Sprecher and Reisens went over well, so how about that again. Or something else. Just ask.

And Megan, if you don't really feel like entertaining after what's happened, we all understand. If there's anything I can do, please just let me know. Four years of group therapy have qualified me to stare at you empathetically and nod while quietly sighing a "mmm hmm."

No, the last thing I want to be right now is to be alone. Movie Night is just what I need. We may have another toast though. I can't wait for another Movie Night.

 

Well, that was another fun night. NEPHEW PLEASE! Anywho, thanks for the night of laughs. It's just what I needed. So...now we need to decide when to go see AOTC again... *All this was done with Gandalf hand motions*

 

The only place that is still showing AOTC is the Ultrascreen. No, it's not on the Ultrascreen, but it's at that theater. I think we had better do this QUICKLY. The movie is leaving theatres and we may only have one chance left.

My next week is going to be lots of long hours. The best day for me to go see AOTC again is this Sunday or Monday night.
