Phx Movie Party!!!

Hey guys, I talked with a few of you at the movie with Bria, and it was decided to have another movie party. Details will be discussed tomorrow at the meeting, and I'll post full detais and directions then.

Here's what I know so far:

Where? My house in Peoria.
When? Saturday, June 15th, early afternoon - ?
What? Anything including, but not limited to, Star Wars, Anime, B-movies, and anyhthing else peeps want to watch.

Is there a general theme we want to go for? Anime? Kung Fu movies? Or is it just free-for-all?

 

Ok, guys, here are the details:

No particular theme at this juncture, though crowd favourites are usually sci-fi and Anime. Feel free to bring any movies you want, and we'll watch whatever the crowd concensus mandates.

12 noon - whenever

Also, if you want to bring drinks or food, great, and maybe we can chip in for some pizza or something.

Take Loop 101 North/West to 75th Ave. (I'm assuming you will know how to get to the Loop 101)
Exit 75th Ave and go North (right).
Turn West (left) on Deer Valley Rd. (stoplight)
Turn North (right) on 83rd Ave. (stoplight)
Turn East (right) on Villa Lindo (this is the last right turn before the road dead-ends at a mountain)
Turn North (left) on 82nd Dr. (this is the first left)
My house is on the Southwest (right) corner of 82nd Dr. and Hatfield Rd.

You may park along the side near the garage (on 82nd), or along the front (on Hatfield).

Forgot to mention, I know that SiFi and things of that nature are the movies of choise. but, I am a huge Mafia movie fan. Godfather, Wise Guuys, Casino, etc.

I was wondering that if I go, I should even bother bringing any of these?

 

Mafia movies rock. This is just me, but I say bring them. And anything that doesn't get watched this time we should schedule a themed movie night, ex. Mafia movies, the afore mentioned Kung Fu movies, maybe a horror movie marathon, or just schedule one night to watch one series of movies...like a marathon of the Alien series, for example.

Damn I cant go I will be at Corona Del Sol at an Academy rehearsal from 3-8 and I work inthe morning till 2 so there is no hope. It may be awhile before I get to attend anything.

j_lauron, if you want to bring along the kids, feel free - we're just gonna be yammering about SW the entire time, complete with silly arguments, mockery, Monty Python quotes, food and I won't be surprised if *someone* goes into the pond in Moe's backyard. It's pretty kid friendly, but you can leave 'em at home if you so desire.
