Movies in Denmark

Crikeys! Didn't know this was a touchy debate.

But I find this interesting... France and Germany dubs, but not the Netherlands? Has anyone got any knowledge about Belgium and Austria?

Seems odd if the Netherlands is non-dub if everyone in their vicinity practises that particular form of sacrilege...
Makes you wonder why.

 

Austria dubs. I suppose one movie that does get better dubbed in Germany is Schindler's list. I mean, it must seem more real if the Germans speak German .

 

I Poland they dub ther movies with only ONE voice to do all the charaters

 

Anyone got any info on Belgium?

Dead Star - one voice? For both male roles and female roles?

Auuuuuuugh! When you thought it couldn't get any worse....

 

Only one voice huh? I don't know, for the person doing it, that is quite impressive. If it's done well that is.

 

I think the Italians get the prize though. They dub movies their own movies, ie movies where actors speak Italian.

I dont get it. You say that movies were the actors speak italien, is dubt with ANOTHER italien voice?¿ Oh man... If I understand this correct, I belive you are right about italiens get the prize.

 

Actually that's common practice within the movie buisness, I forget what it is called but it used to be done a lot way back when. Most of the movies made in the fifties were done like that, were the actors would come back in to over dub the recording that was filmed previously. Something to do with getting out all the unwanted sounds, But with the advent of digital recording that is now done away with.

 

I think it's called "looping"...
