No, I think it was because I had a friend over and realised some things.

... Right. Let's get logical and ruin the joke. Sigh.

Well did things work out or was it the realization that they would not work?

I have only seen this once in theatres as a little fella and I was fighting the tears when I noticed my younger sister crying her little eyes out and pointed it out to my dad her then sat her in his lap.

Can we add songs to this thread, too? Just a suggestion, certainly don't want to start another thread for it.

Did you see the theory that Jessie's owner was the kid's mum? The kid was called Andy right?

There are a lot of movies that get tears from me, so I don't even know where to start. I guess I'll go through the thread and hand out likes to those that get me, too. So be prepared for necro-likes!

It doesn't even have to be sad or anything. Sometimes danger, the fear that a character will die or suffer, is enough. I mean, really thrilling action sequences can cause me to tear up. I tear up during the battles of Yavin and Endor, every time. I guess it's a catharsis thing, and it makes the triumph all the better.

Man, songs. A lot from my angsty teen years I don't even want to admit. They still get to me sometimes.

But Crossroads by Bone Thugs always got me, especially as a kid.

    "bury me by gran gran"

    "while your laughing
    we're passing, passing away"

"but when it's time to die
    gotta go bye bye
all a lil thug could do is cry cry"

"Can somebody, anybody tell me why
Hey, can somebody, anybody tell me why
    we die we die?
    I don't wanna die"

Even the chorus. "See you at the crossroads, so you won't be lonely".

Also....Don't Worry Baby by The Beach Boys.

Did anyone mention the end of Wrath of Khan?

Scotty, I need warp speed in three minutes or we're all dead.

    Spock, get out of there!
    No! Spock, don't!

*Spock recoiling in pain as he takes a face full of whatever that blue stuff was*

Jim, you'd better get down here.
    *looks at Spock's empty chair*

    "he'll die"
    "he's dead already"
