Wow...after that review I just might go see it myself.

And tek: this is Hollywood. No one can act and the action scenes always bite. :D

Gecko and slavey are my socks! :p

    Back to the movies...

My non-sci-fi friends were commenting on Final Fantasy today, they were pretty blown away by the look of it. Looks like it's grabbing people's attention.

Final Fantasy has done terrible business at the US box office. It won't even make 50 million.

Enemy at the Gates is opening in a couple of weeks time.

What!? Are you serious? I find that odd.

I know I'll be seeing FF:TSW as soon as I get the chance. Actually, come to think of it, has it come out already?

I'll be seeing JP3 purely for the visual f/x (dinosaurs and what-not). I don't think it will as great as the other two.
Final Fantasy is top of my list at the moment. When i first saw the preview i didn't realise that it was animation until the end. It's sure to be unbelievable!

JP3 is, according to many, better than the opther two. And everyone I know says it's better than TLW - which in my opinion would have been FAR better had they STUCK TO THE BOOK!
Then again, if they'd done that, it would have had a LOT of time with Malcolm rabbiting on about chaos theory and evolution ...

Well I'm hoping to go and see either Shrek or Evolution this week. JP3 looks great, alot better than TLW, hopefully.

    Both Shrek and Evolution RULE!
I've heard negative feedback from folks about Evolution, but you hafta appreciate the humour to like th movie. It's by the guy that did Ghostbusters.

Haven't seen Evolution, but I loved Shrek. Especially the Princess, she was animated really well!
Whilst I'm on Shrek, does anyone know what that song is called and who it was performed by (and maybe even original)? The one that goes something like, "The minor 4, the major lift" etc etc. I find that song really clever.

The song is Hallelujah performed by Rufus Wainwright. One of my favourites too. :D
