I finaly got the chance to see Indy. I loved it!! But just like any other Lucas movie this Century, I had a few problems with it. The couple things that bugged me were: Swinging on the vines, The ants, some of the CGI stuff.

I didn't mind the supernatural stuff. All the other Indy movies had stuff in it. Voodoo power, Christian powers..., so aliens wasn't too weird.

I was a great movie and i will see it again.

Captain America will appear in the DVD cut of The Incredible Hulk, along with an additional 70 mins of footage not included in the theatrical cut.

Caught a sneak preview of WALL-E last night - absolutely wonderful! Pixar has done it again - the trailers don't really give the main story away at all. And the animated short before the film will have you in stitches! So funny!

It was truly magical!! Way to go Ben Burtt =D=

Caught Hancock and Wanted last night....

Hancock was really good - not at all what I expected. Yes, there were funny parts, but it's more of a drama/action film. Cool effects!! Will Smith is ornery as hell, and fun to watch.

WANTED - ridiculously awesome!! The effects are crazy amazing, pretty simple but good plot and great acting by MacAvoy. I really hope there's a sequel to this. It's worth the price of admission alone to hear Morgan Freeman drop the f-bomb [face_devil]

EDIT (not sure why it posted the same message twice - duplicate deleted).

HELLBOY 2: THE GOLDEN ARMY is a visual feast for the eyes!! So much to take in, so many incredibly wierd and wonderful creatures - you'll need to see it more than once to catch it all. The ending makes me hope they're already working on the next one!!

Next week - THE DARK KNIGHT!! The midnight show is going to be AWESOME!!!

Indeed, it was great. I enjoyed the whole thing. I absolutely loved all the new technology Batman had, which I won't spoil for those who haven't seen the movie. I can only say it was well done, and Lucius Fox is a genius.

There are no words to properly describe the intensity, insanity and awesomeness that is THE DARK KNIGHT - 10 outta 10.

I highly recommend the IMAX show - absolutely unbelievable!!

Dark Knight is the second best movie I've seen in my life and the best comic movie ever made period. Just amazing story, action, intensity it lives up to the hype and beyond in my opinion. This is what a Batman movie should be like and with this one and Batman Begins we can all throw out the ones from the 90's as they non-exsitent now.

Also Heath Ledger is the Joker nuff said!!!!.

Awesome movie run out and see it truely amazing.

Caught the advanced screening of Tropic Thunder last night - holy hell! So freakin' funny!!! Robert Downey Jr. OWNS every scene he's in!! 'You mo' cut up than a julienne salad.' LOL!!!
The mock trailers beforehand are seriously hilarious - you're gonna want some Booty Sweat after you watch this flick :p

And speaking of my current fav guy, Iron Man will be released on DVD/Blu-ray on Sept 30th.

Paramount is releasing "Iron Man" as a two-disc "Ultimate Edition" on DVD and Blu-ray. Each includes a seven-part making-of documentary and a six-part feature on the origins of the Marvel superhero.

Other extras include a documentary on the film's visual effects; Robert Downey Jr.'s original screen test; deleted and extended scenes; a photo gallery of concept art; and behind-the-scenes images on the set.

The Blu-ray presentation also offers several additional extras, including a "Hall of Armor" that lets viewers zoom in on any of the three Iron Man suits, or Iron Monger, and then activate digital 3-D schematics to check out every weapon. They also can fly around each suit to explore it in great detail. Also included is a BD-Live Web application, "Iron Man IQ," that lets users create and share new multiple-choice quizzes based on clips from the film.

A single-disc "Iron Man" DVD also will be issued, with just the movie and the deleted and extended scenes.

I know Hulk comes out soon on DVD but is it going to have the extra footage with it. I know I seen it online but there was no extra footage as it was only just the theatrical version. I can't wait to get Iron Man Blu-Ray tomorrow

A few years back, Ewan McGregor rode round the world on his motor cycle, with friend Charlie Boorman. The documentary detailing their journey ran on the Outdoor network (he even passed thru Calgary and took part in Calgary's 'fun fair' - aka The Stampede).

Cineplex is running an abridged version on Oct 15. For details, click below:

Am a little behind in my movie viewings, but I managed to catch Eagle Eye last night. I thought it was a great action flick, even though the plot isn't a new idea (you'll notice HUGE similarities between it and several other popular films, but it has a more modern take). Shia's really good in it and I really felt for his character. It makes me want to throw out my cell phone and computer though......[face_worried]

How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, however, is a boring, pendantic and unfunny movie. Love Simon Pegg - didn't love him in this

Max Payne was a let down. Mediocre at best, I'd say. Wahlberg is great - always brings his A-game, but the story isn't very compelling and the supporting cast is decidedly B or C-list (Chris O'Donnell - who hasn't made a movie in like, 10 years - is in it, as well as Nelly Furtado?? And Ludacris??). Wait for the DVD.

On the upside, and new HP6 (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince) trailer is out!!!

Caught the sneak peak of Zack and Miri Make a Porno last night - pretty funny stuff. I thought I might be offended by the SW 'porno' they reference in the movie, but I found myself laughing hysterically at it [face_laugh] [face_laugh]
Not as much great dialogue as Kevin Smith's other movies, but still really enjoyable. Great supporting cast - hell, Superman's in it!!

The Captain America movie has a director - Joe Johnston.

    http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=50380

Should be interesting...[face_thinking] especially given his former SW/Lucasfilm connections...

    Quantum of Solace

    I LOVED it!

Shorter than most Bond flicks but so much more INTENSE! The man is pissed and he wants answers NOW. He was more suave in this one (you really start to see those signature mannerisms start to appear), and he was so efficient and deadly. Love that they set up this 'Green Planet' corporation to look like Spectre, and love that they include a bunch of vintage Bond send ups (you'll recognize 'em when you see 'em ;)).

Yes, I know you might get confused with the subplot (Green Planet buying up seemingly worthless land in order to divert critical water sources and co-opt governments in the process) but it doesn't really matter. James isn't here to save the world from this diabolical plot - at least not in this movie. He's out to get Vesper's corruptors, and NOTHING will stand in his way. Leave you in the desert with nothing to drink but a can of motor oil? Brilliant, cocky and so cold. Bond and M's banter - classic! Look for the 'Q' pin he pulls out of a goodie bag :D

The opening car chase sequence - my jaw dropped. Phenomenal!! The action and fight sequences are fantastic!!

No, I didn't like the theme song. But I did like certain things about it. Loved the music, dug the words - but Alicia Keyes and Jack White are like oil and water. Apart they're great, but together they sound terrible. If Keyes had just done the vocals it would've been WAY better. Or Amy Whinehouse for that matter.

Definitely different from Casino Royale - but you gotta understand that they can't attempt to copy the exact same formula. Try not compare the two. Bond is evolving - and I think Craig showcases that brilliantly.
