Have any of you guys or girls seen the new Transformers trailer?

As a child of the 80's I was a huge fan, so I was a bit worried when I heard Michael Bay was gonna be in charge of it, especially after seeing the designs they were thinking of using. Since I saw the latest work though, things are starting to look up for it IMHO.

Hot Fuzz was ok. Very safe and comfortable in its humour. Not innovative at all.

Saw Black Sheep with the lads tonight.

Pretty crack up movie, the girl was amazingly annoying with her comments but the movie itself was pretty funny. Could have been a lot better with better actors but hey /shrugs/ small NZ film. Very 'Bad Taste' esque.

 

Can't wait for Black Sheep. Looks very funny. I am still waiting for PJ to make Bad Taste 2

 

Don't get too excited about BS. The story line is ok, the funny is good, the acting / script is pretty poor.

Saw '300' the other day, GREAT movie!!!

 

Yea, saw 300 at IMAX... $18 aint worth it, but still a good movie! Blood guts and a bit of cheese. Liked the "Sin City" feel to it.

 

Anyone seen Spider-Man 3??


Saw it today and it's very disappointing. Now i'm no Spidey fan, I've seen the first 2 and didn't really get what all the fuss was about but hoguht they were pretty decent movies to watch.

This one however is crap, some real weird stuff in it, and a whole lack of stuff in it. It was camp, sort of in the vein of the awful Batman & Robin. There's even a whole part when Peter goes EMO!! I mean wth!!

Anyone that's my 2 cents, don't waste your money

great film, totally not what i was expecting though. quite a dark fantasy, a lot more of the film set in the 'Real world' than i thought.

Its not coming out in NZ and Im hoping its coming to the Best of Both Words Con in Septemeber...
I saw shooter with a mate the other weekend, it was good, alot of bombs and guns and the like, but not the best.
