Saw "Superhero Movie" last night with the girlfriend, we both agreed that it was lame and cheesy, just what one would expect from a movie like that. Wayyyyy to many fart jokes though!!

Spiderwick Chronicles was pretty good. Great kids flick. Took Liam (my 7 year old) today.

Not too scary but scary enough for the kids. Not too scary for grown-ups either. [face_worried]

I give it 3 1/2 stars as long as you go into it with no expectations.

Ogre effects were probably the "stand-out". Goblins were pretty cool too (Rabid Cane Toads)

    Back to you Mark......

I can't wait for Indiana Jones and 21...

Also out on DVD Jesse James is suppose to be awesome... never saw it advertised at the movies though... odd. Brad Pitt is suppose to be great in it.

21 is a standard popcorn flick.

Take a true story and 'base' a movie on it, remove most of the substance, add average actors as the leads and underuse the great actors, throw in a few montages and you have 90 minutes of averageness.

    oh you dick.

Spacey is great... I mean anyone who can say "I want to look good naked" and get away with it is genius. :p

Have you seen it? Cause after semi pro... I'm not sure you're reviewing abilities are up to scratch.. Semi was better than I was expecting. No Anchorman but still some crack up lines.

edit: oh, and everyone loves a montage... time passes more quickly in a montage... you have to fade out in a montage...

well... sadly I didn't end up getting to see "No Country For Old Men", instead sat and watched beautiful people... the likes of Ryan Renolds, Isla Fisher and Rachel Weize or whatever... 'Definately, Maybe' is a chick flick that's bareable... so for you blokes wanting to gain points in the miss's book... and she's in need of a bit of a rom com... this one is one you'll be able to sit through. :p

edit = I did still kill her in air hockey :p couldn't let her change movies on me *and* go easy on her in air hockey :D

    Saw No Country... tonight.

    Well... mmmmmmm.

Certainly an interesting flick... the ending is pretty cool. My mate hated it's ending I think. I'm just not sure he got it. :p

Certainly a bit grewsome in parts, but not overly thrilleristic, but very well done. Great acting too. :)

Jarod says it to his sister after she's taken the piss outta him... "I hope you get diabetes" and walks out :p

Yea, I got the DVD... once or twice is unfortunately a max for that film... it's certainly not as good as the first viewing in the cinema. Still, might end up a classic.
