FF:NZ Movies . . .

Saw the new Coen brothers movie "Burn After Reading" last night.

Not sure what to make of it to be honest, but definitely not my cup of tea, didn't enjoy it at all. Some alright bits, but the movie just didn't seem to go anywhere. Was waiting for it to kick off, but it never really came.

 

To make you kiwis happy I am holding out for a Peter Jackson Bad Taste remake or sequel

 

Or maybe a Lord of the Rings prequel????

 

How will you waiting for something help us out?

 

Maybe if we all wait together, there will be no more Adam Sandler movies made.... Ever again......

 

Have you seen 'Reign Over Me'. It's actually rather good. It's Adam but in a serious movie and it's got a rather touching story too.

Adam Sandler's body of work prior to "Reign Over Me" does not inspire me to waste my time watching it.

Off to Dark Knight at IMax tonight

 

Went to see it last night, and while your right in it not going anywhere, I found it amazingly entertaining, not a movie id see again, but definitely entertaining!

 

I saw it last night too.

Didn't know what the hell was going on for the first 45 minutes, but it all came together nicely.

It got steadily more amusing once the stories converged, and a few hilarious (and a few utterly shocking) moments for sure. Pity every single character is so utterly unlikeable. Doubt I'll ever watch it again, but I had fun.

 

Anybody else seen Eagle Eye yet?

Went to see it the other week. Wasn't bad for what it was, but what it was wasn't much. Had some interesting ideas, most of which had been done a lot better in other films.

At this point, I'm hanging out for the first trailer to G.I. Joe.
